I don't know if you know this or not but, a port of this was recently announced for 3DS.

There's a better chance that we'll get that one in the US. Since the 3DS is current and more popular. And season 6 of the anime is coming out soon here in english.

how many times we have to tell you people that we dun give a damm about that?
the fully translated patch will be released no matter what, why people keep saying about a possible 3ds localization when its been posted allready by others guys? that's tiresome

Probably the reason that is that the psp is hackable. The 3DS isn't yet.

Also IF the game does get an official 3DS translation will there be a revision to match it?

I wouldn't say if but when, they usually localize Digimon games on Nintendo systems because its massive Pokemon fanbase often picks them up on the side.

3DS isn't hackable yet because its alot newer system than the PSP and they put some heavy DRM in it when it launched in 2011. As of now they have flash carts that let you play DS games on it, but not 3DS games.

Until the last few games. Lost Evo, Xros ....... And I am not sure a large Pokemon fanbase will pick em up. Just saying.

And I am pretty sure he knows that the 3DS isn't hackable. Heck he even said that. What he meant was if the team will use the 3DS ver as a guide for the PSP translation.

In Japan, actually it is. Xros wars did pretty well.
Stateside, dunno. Impossible to gauge due to it not having a dub, let alone being aired.

DMO wasn't doing too bad last I knew. They were keeping the servers a float.
I think you're under estimating the size of the Digimon fanbase. There's a reason Digimon is considered the rival to Pokemon.

We're not getting a PSP release due to the abysmal state of the PSP stateside right now.

You do know xros wars(Digimon Fusion) got the ok go to be dubbed and aired in the states on Nickelodeon this year right? That is why a lot of Digimon fans got excited when they heard Digitized getting a 3DS Version a week after that announcement.

I did not. I have high hopes for 3DS getting localized now. Though Danball has been license Stateside for a few months now and we have yet to hear ANYTHING about the PSP, PSV, or 3DS games getting translated.
