hi everyone!
happy to join in here
i own a DSL + M3 Real for a couple of years now
very happy with it, all DS ROMs run great
and it's all i want
but now Castlevania : Portrait of Ruin gives me problems
the known freezing issue
and my question is :
is there any cart besides the DSTWO that the game runs good on?
thanks

i don't want to buy another microsd just for it to fail...also i read it has to be max 1gb and those are not available
anymore here
seems strange you're saying the carts in the list run it ok
because i read many people with r4 experience the same thing
i've been told DSTWO and Cyclon run it good
but they are too expensive...

I suggest going with the R4i Gold (url: http://www.r4ids.cn/) from nds-card.com
It can play all of the Castlevania games with no problems no matter what the MicroSD speed is.

All the ones there run it.

But the M3i should run it well too since it's an older game, tried a different MicroSD?
Actually I tested Castlevania PoR on a Class4 and 6 (I borrowed from my friend, so I don't own them) They still lagged on the intro and and froze randomly. The MicroSD cards were formatted properly and I had all the latest software. I know it is a software issue since EOS updated to fix it and since the update I haven't had single problem on my DSOnei

so if you have a good experience with DSONEi...why do you recommend me the R4?? :)
i know DSTWO is good...question is if DSONE is also good :)
Well that was more of an example, personally I wouldn't suggest the DSOnei because I haven't had the best experience with it.
Plus the R4i Gold gets far more updates both in the firmware and Kernel department.

The DSOnei is only OK, the DSTwo and R4i gold are better.

With Wood R4 and a decent MicroSD card, they work perfectly. (tested and played them all fully through myself)
