I'm kind of a scrub, what do all of the column labels mean? The game I want has red for NMM and green for the rest of them.

NMM is an option for saving without the use of a memory card. Since it's red for that game it's incompatible based on the version it was reported on there as.

The one uploaded by Crediar will be exactly the same, as we have the one uploaded by Crediar too.

What do you mean by not working?
The loader itself, or the download/package?

Where do I find the compatibility list for Dios Mios and DML? I'm trying to get Super Smash Bros: Melee to work... I don't know if I have to download an older version or what.
You shouldn't have any problems. It's works with both DM and DML on my end.
Hasn't worked for me either in the last 3 or 4 revisions of DM either. Pal on Pal.
I am running an extracted version though and haven't bothered to test other forms of the iso.

I'm gonna have to say this, from now on every report of a not working game on DM please mention which revision, wither USB or SD, what region, which iso format, and more importantly which loader, because this is getting ridiculous!!

Super Smash Bros. Melee works perfectly fine for me!

Probably worth mentioning all those things if your game works too when others don't (for process of elimination).

So, mine used to work in DM 2.2, Wiiflow, Pal on Pal, Extracted with GCReex. No go with 2.? to 2.6
I hear it's probably something to do with prog patching which has changed, which may work differently for Pal images/consoles.

So nothing about Dios Mios possibly breaking the Disc Loading?
I know this did not happen before, and after testing it now also happens with older Dios Mios version, 2.4, albeit, a bit more rarely. Normally I think Dios Mios would not even show the Logo of Dios Mios and just boot the disc as Wii Should - at least, that is how my first Dios Mios Installations were.

If anyone knows about this is there any way to fix this? Like said, this is pretty important to me because I cannot keep all of my games backed up, and enjoy the ones I own on disc that have problems with DM.

Disc loading works for me on 2.2 and I use 2.6 for 2 disc games. It seems like it's all about finding the right combination of two versions for each users needs.
So, Disc loading does not work for you on 2.6?
Because, it generally should, at least according to general goal of Dios Mios, Retail Disc loading should not be broken after 2.0

Disk loading still working here on 2.5
Okay, I do not have 2.5 WAD since It passed me so I cannot test. I think I happened to create... Something in my console and even though I have done complete MIOS reinstallation few times I cannot get DIOS MIOS work like it should be - only because I wrote Dios Mios 2.6 right over 2.4 once...

You're right, my Wii is 4.1U and I use Dios Mios 2.6 (USB)but the game worked on ALL older revisions I had including the r59 and lower, my games are all .iso format, all DiscEx format compressed except for Kirby's Air Ride, Virtua Striker 2002. Mario Golf, and Batman Dark Tomorrow which didn't work as compressed but worked fine as non-compressed, Phantasy Star Online Episode 1&2 (Hack) is GCReex format because this game only worked for me with this format on DML Booter while all others I use USB Loader GX r1207, Pad Hook enabled, NMM disabled (I own a memory card), Progressive Patch disabled, Screenshot Capture enabled, no disk in the drive, most games are NTSC-U including SSBM, some are PAL and a couple of them are Jap since they weren't released outside of Japan, all games work fine for me except for Sonic Gems Collection and Spiderman that need a disk in the drive (I switched to Devo for Gems Collection and it works fine now) and Mega Man X Command Mission crashes a lot on its own for no reason, tried to make another 1:1 rip, disk in the drive, no sleep hard drive, same problem, and of course a few games have audio streaming which are (Crazy Taxi, Looney Tunes Back In Action, Super Monkey Ball 1, Namco Museum, Crash Bandicoot The Wrath Of Cortex, and if I remember correctly Pacman World Rally) that's all that is, so yeah Dios Miso 2.6 is really doing a good job for me!

This is how the old DML was, the one that kept Nintendo's original codes, it worked fine for most games but the no disc compatibility was very low and games would crash a lot, also it was slow!

Well, This new one has problem of Actually working - only whenever it wants.
I tested with Dios Mios Lite 2.6 and I can... "happily" I guess to inform it does not seem to have any problems, but with Dios Mios 2.6 installed I still am having problems, after I have downloaded the WAD three separate times and tried to install it from each at least three times around to test it just seems Dios Mios either does not Show up about 80% of time at all, and Boots the game - once when it feels like. It may be something with my Hard Drive that is not filly working with Dios Mios, as my hard drive would fail to boot a game with dios mios - maybe 10% of the time, but generally works. As for actual game loading from USB with Dios Mios 2.6 installations I done, yeah, seems to work, even down to multidisc I tried with my Killer7 Backup.

But Yeah, if you ask me "Would you want to keep a disc in a drive to boot gamecube games from USB, or would you like to play your disc games once in month" I would go with the first one gladly.

I am still testing but indeed, Dios Mios Lite 2.6 did not have disc load problems with 5 out of 5 attempts. Too bad I do not own any large enough SD card media, plus I like to use just 2GB SD card with my Wii for compatibility with games that do not support SDHC and for the fact I have already large enough USB drive that should fill every need a hole can have.

EDIT: I think I know the problem for most parts: It seems Dios Mios, even when booting disc, needs to initialize the USB drive. This is problem because my USB hard drive is not always initialized right to work with Dios Mios. I may need to crash the wii once or twice before Dios Mios works right. Normally with third attempt I can get gamecube games always boot until I need to disconnect my USB hard drive for reason or another.

But even this is false because Most of my attempts still end up in black screen hang after getting a game booted from USB few times. If possible, Dios Mios should revert to old way or find a way to not try use USB media, I can see the Hard Drive being accessed when trying to boot a game even if it ends up in crashing.
So, I cannot say for sure at all, but I know it is probably media access error even though It should be just booting a Disc

@Sumea The problem you're having is not related to Dios Mios but is related to GC Loader, which been talked about for ages when it first came out (DML 1.0) it is not compatible with all SD brands (Sony doesn't work and Sand Disk is said to be best) nor it is with all Hard Drives (my Toshiba HDD doesn't work but most of the others work fine, Western Digital is said to be best) once you get that working out you'll have the games working 100% everytime!

Maybe someone already said that (I didn't read this huge 189-paged topic, sorry about that) but I can't help but keep wondering why the No More Memory feature doesn't work with all the games... Is it so hard to implement? Why Devolution supports more games using its similar feature? Why can't I play Chibi Robo using NMM? Why? WHY?

...
Oh, sorry! That's sure embarrassing! :P

I am using Buffalo branded External hard drive, and formatted it right, and it pretty much works for USB loading... 100% the time albeit few initialization issues. For USB loading, it indeed DOES work 100% of the time more or less. Both Devolution and Dios Mios.

I was cross testing it back and forth and I can pretty much USB load everything without hitching, like sad, about 10% of the time it would fail.

So why in ever living hell, does DISC LOADING NOT work with the same error rate, but rather fails with newest dios mios about 60% of the time. Right now, every other boot works and every other does not, from a disc, what is weird.

So, hard drive incompatibility is not it, and if I plug it off, shouldn't, at least, sensibly, the disc loading work then too?
