When I do a full non trimmed iso, Configureable USB Loader attempts do some kind of mounting or loading on boot and it takes a long time. Is this normal? edit: woops that one was compressed iso. let me try an expanded one. EDIT: NVRMIND. A 1:1 as game.iso under gamename folder under games, loads right up, yet still doesn't fix cutscenes on Timesplitters 2.

I'm gonna try other DIOS MIOS versions. See if that helps. Might try a different manager too. I'm gonna get this.

Still looking for tips on getting Timesplitters 2 and FP working.

To give you some hope, these games work fine here!

You wouldn't mind sharing your setup would you? I assume you are using 1:1. Are you using CFGLoader? Dios Mios 2.6? Disc? Memory Card?
Can someone explain this mounting thing CFGLoader is trying to do with ISO format? Must have been doing something wrong with the ISO's. With just* game.iso or DiscEx mine boot up instant. Odd.

So. I've tried 1:1, Dios Mios 2.2, USB Loader GX 1220 w/ gc disc and physical memory card. Cinematics are still wonky. Gonna try a different USB Drive formatted 32K cluster Fat32 and try again.

You may want to try to find another rip of the game.

My Resident Evil 3 hangs when I try to start a new game (Dios Mios 2.6) . It hangs after the intro scenes, when the 'white dialogue' text comes up and the game is about to start. Can someone try this?

Not here, all games work just fine for me, only Mega Man X Command Mission still crashes a lot but it's been like that since 2.2 (maybe before idk)!

Getting a black screen using DM with an SD card, with every game. 8GB 64kb cluster FAT32 SDHC card, class 10. I load the game (using any loader), and it's just infinite silent black screen ahoy.

Halp? The FAQ for DM addressing this issue only addresses USB loading, but I'm using an SD.

EDIT: Nvm. I got it. Apparently DM doesn't play nice with SD cards, and as such DML must be used. Also updating to rev 1205 for USB loader GX helped.

To run a game from SD you have to install DML!

What could make seemingly a lot of games lose compatibility in the 2.6 update? It seems like many people are having 2.6 issues more than previous updates.

Well, as i said before, im having some trouble with Star Wars jedi Knight 2 and Star wars Bounty Hunter (they freeze at first loading screen)

Im too lazy to try an older DiosMios version (im on 2,6), but i did got a new rip of Bounty Hunter just to see if, maybe, my copy was to blame.

Nope, didnt work either.

Just wanted to report back in on Timesplitters 2 NTSC.

It ended up being a formatting issue with the usb formatting. After formatting with ~32k clusters with "FAT32_GUI_Formatter.exe" included with ModMii, all the issues went away with cinematic. The game also loads considerably faster. So in the end I used Dios Mios 2.2, 1:1, w/ gamecube disc, and CfgLoader r51. Thans for the help and suggestions. Crediar for the incredible programming prowess.

Ok so I've got an issue with dios mios and DML. Just a few days ago when i first installed it to my it was working fine but after a week or so my gamecube controller stopped working with it. So my question is, is there a way for me to fix this issue without needing a retail disc? I have one but my wii disc drive isn't picking up any of my discs due to errors. I've tgried opening my Wii up to fix it but I've got a few stripped screws and I don't know how to remove them safely without damaging my Wii all together. I've tried using multiple versions odf DM and DML The only ones that have worked are version 2.5 and 2.6 every other version hung at a black screen before the Dios Mios splash. So yea if I could get any help on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

ok sure how but i got this issue fixed if anything it was because i installed d2x to my wii. I'm not a 100% sure on this because at the time i was trying to mess to get S/Uneed set up on my wii. Then i gave up on that cuz my sd cards or hdd werent compatible and alittle after i realized that ssbb wasnt working thats when i found out sbout d2x and installed it. so if anybody else is having a similar issue to what encountered i'd suggest installing d2x could help with the issue if your wii isnt reading retail discss like mine..

I can see the logic in that. I tried to re-rip my MKDD disc but it made no difference whether it was in cleanrip or USBLGX.
As about 7 games no longer work in 2.6 for me, I'm sure if I went back to 2.2 they'd work as they did before but it just kinda sucks to lose some games compatibility for 2-disc games.

Where do I find the compatibility list for Dios Mios and DML? I'm trying to get Super Smash Bros: Melee to work... I don't know if I have to download an older version or what.

So, I downloaded Dios Mios 2.6 TWICE.
Installed and reinstalled it many times - too many times.

Every time, Dios Mios 2.6 on PAL console at least breaks the original MIOS completely leaving disc compatibility to zero - What I heard should been fixed a long time ago, and it WAS, I been using DIOS MIOS 2.4 for long time and it did not indeed break compatibility with Disc Channel disc booting. This is a big deal because I am not taking backups of my every gamecube game just to fix minor issue I have with booring Killer7 I happen to own.

Disc switching indeed does work, so kudos for that, but I hope this MIOS break can be fixed. I was screwed there for a moment.

Anyone else even using actual discs can confirm if this is problem in DM2.6? Maybe it is not in DML2.6, maybe it affects only PAL consoles, I dunno really.

EDIT: After booting a game with Dios Mios through USB it reverts back to DIOS MIOS booting the discs.
Which only worked once and other attempts giving black screen of hanging.
Indeed, I have made now several attempts booting several different genuine discs and one time aside, it has not worked at all.
