2d is not old school? This is the only game that closely resembles Super Metroid for SNES.
I believe your French gun misfired, allowing me for one extra turn.
Fluid graphics. Detailed storyline with attention to details in graphics, voice, music and length.
You're incorrect. Clearly you are in a state of denial, which is understandable, who would want a shit Metroid game? It's kinda like a person who sees something traumatic as a child and blocks it from their memory and replaces the memory with something good and happy...though I assume that you are still a child what with that "French" quip, (for the record most Brits don't see being called "French" as an insult, some of us are actually enlightened don't hold grudges for something a nation had no control over though we will troll a thread if a game in a great franchise is shit).
Of course I am joking, though not about Metroid Other M being shit.
Graphically it was serviceable, I've seen better Wii titles. It was quite generic in design, as if the people involved have had no artistic merit but could draw a person to look like a person.
Voice acting was vomit inducting but then if I had read that script I wouldn't have had bothered in putting effort in either.
Music was again, serviceable, nothing special. It was no better than background shopping centre music.
The length would have been just right if it only included the Ridley battle and nothing else. Other than that, it was way too long.
If you've only ever played games by Popcorn Arcade or Phoenix Games then yes this is a good game in comparison, but Other M is not a good game when you hold it against a mediocre title. Suffice to say, this is the worst Metroid and this is coming from someone who found Hunters and Pinball to be mildly entertaining.
