This is kind of a weird scenario, but I've been playing various DS Pokemon games on my 3DS via the Supercard DSTWO, and they all run perfectly fine, except when in the items menu. In ALL of the DS Pokemon games, the 'Bag' menu runs extremely slow, even if there's nothing in the pockets. It takes much longer to cycle through items than it does with an actual game card. (Tested under Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, and White 2)

Has anyone else run into this issue before? Is it due to the class of my Micro-SD card? It has the number 4 on it in a circle, so I imagine that means it's a class 4.

I had a lag in all the pokemon intro games on the scds2. But when I formatted mine microsd again (but not with panasonic 32 formatter) it was gone. so you can try formatting it with command prompt (I needed to test this because i used it for my program, and i accidently discovered that the lag was gone).

Bump!

The format didn't work, so I just wanted to let anyone else with the same issue know that a Lexar Class 10 Micro-SD performs MUCH better in every aspect! Even areas that I didn't know were slow have been sped up, like the in-game dstwo menu, loading games, etc.

The Bag menu slowdown is completely fixed, as well as the title screen white kyurem model animation which was extremely slow.

Class 4 Micro-SDs suck ass. If you plan on playing through an entire Pokemon title on the DSTWO, don't buy a Class 4 SD card.

How -exactly- did you format it? The standard Windows format doesn't change the filesystem in the way MicroSDs need.
Use this with full format and size adjustment on just to be sure.

Class-4 works just fine in many cases. Class is not read speed, it's write speed, so it's possible to have a class-4 with a better read speed than a class-6, if the class-4 is well-made and the class-6 is just barely passing quality control. Also if you got the class-4 from ebay or a chinese import shop, it has a good chance of being fake.

I formatted it using Disk Utility for Mac OS X. I'm not a Windows user.

It was a Duracell Class 4 Micro-SD card.
