Dishonored is becoming a franchise

Well with the announced DLC packs, I question why Bethesda has no season pass for games. At least the new IP has enough sales to consider a sequel.

Dishonored was amazing. I hope more developers decide to test waters with new franchises like this one. God knows the video game market is getting stale with each yearly FPS release. Dragon's Dogma and Dishonored were one of the few new franchises I really saw this year.

It's always easier to start a new IP when you have superfranchises that make money like Fallout and TES. Even if Dishonored was a total misfire, they wouldn't lose any money, there's a nice safety net.

Not many developers have that safety net.
