3) How is it Sony's fault if the consumer loses their memory stick or it gets full? The original point is ridiculous. My original point was that the memory stick is not necessarily a one time buy. And I know it's not Sony fault, but a disadvantage in using their own proprietary format.
Its a disadvantage with just about every memory format in the history of the world.
I guess I didn't elaborate my point, it is better to buy another micro sd card which is cheaper and can be used with a tons of other devices than a memory stick. I just mentioned because I read people saying things like "So what, the memory stick is expensive? It's a one time buy" and things like that. Well, i guess I didn't elaborate well my own idea...
