Well,I am really glad that Fix fixed VC/Wiiware emulation in the last weeks -NO MORE black screen!!!!

My only minor grip is that currently Wiiflow can not launch any Region Free of another's region VC/Wiiware games.I have a PAL Wii and I am sure that my NTSC wads work via latest Postloader just fine.When using Wiiflow with NTSC wads,it gives me a black screen.

Fix may I ask you if you are aware of this?

@fledge68 thanks for the last update.
can we have 8 pages limit for super advanced setup.
Mastershoes is trying to make a standardized magic number naming convention so we might need 3-4 extra pages to test everything here :)

Edit: we already have a naming convention for the source menu icons, check my set v2 RC3 here for all the corrected names: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?dkxh3sb48pq2od1

:)

Hope someone can help just upgraded to wiiflow r666 and now all my emulator roms are showing there folders names rather than the game names

I don't know how fast you would run out of memory but you can just recompile it. the max number of source menu buttons is set in menu_source.cpp on line 23. It looks like it's actually the max number of buttons +1 but it could at least work for a test version for him.

well it starts then clicks (auto press A at start screen) then freezes. im willing to bet its too many channels being the culprit.
How long do you wait before deciding it's frozen? Does your hard drive activity stop? Mine always takes quite a while.
It's something like this
start neek2o
wait
wait some more
health screen
press A (set to autopress in my case)
wait
screen goes black
wait
hear the system menu music start up
wait just a little bit more
system menu shows up

I've never thought of my hard drive as all that slow, either. I personally prefer to just use WiiFlow to avoid the neek system menu all together
neek channels return to WiiFlow
neek mode WiiFlow always returning to REAL system menu etc.

i've waited up to 10 minutes at a black screen. gonna try chkdsk in a min. i am familiar with neek2o, i've had rev88 working in the past with this same nand, no changes have been made to the nand since it was last working.

While browsing through some tv shows with mplayer, a thought occurred to me. What if we could assign a designated folder containing other folders to the coverflow? Here's how I see it. Say mplayer is set to USB1:/videos. that would be our root. Inside that folder we have other folders.
Music videos/artist/vids by that artist
TV shows/show name/episodes/special features
Movies/The films(also maybe box sets)/special features
Other random stuff/...
So when you click on one, any other folders inside it would come up in a flow.
It could help cut down on the need for outrageous amounts of categories and could itself be a sort of category flow.
Thoughts?

Just organized a huge plugin pack for advanced source menu users. It includes a new "standardized" magic number setup (keeping all the established ones of course)..

-Every plugin available, both as a whole, or split. (ie - genplusgx OR megacd/megadrive/mastersystem/sg1000/gamegear... or BOTH!).
-Ini's for all of them, new advanced plugin magic #'s included as well as the standard numbers - 50 Ini's in all! They are all setup to match the list in the spoiler below.

I'm just awaiting some "proofreading" and feedback from abz and fledge. I really think this will make plugin life a lot easier for everyone!

Oh, and also, there's been a pretty big Gameboy Classic Cover update, check out the covers thread if you're interested!

yes the max number of buttons is set in line 23 of menu_source.cpp. It should be a multiple of 12 * pages and then subtract 1. the 46 was a typo - should be 48. Also you shouldn't have to worry about memory since only 12 actual buttons are used. It's the texture (image) for each button that changes each time you change pages. So no matter the max number of buttons you still always only have 12 buttons instead of 48 or 60 or 72.

Hey guys.. making headway with my attempt at a theme :-P
Looks nothing like the fab themes you guys make but hey it's all me LOL
Anywho I am having a bit of grief on a small aspect. When you hover on anything selectable or changable
the graghic expands. This is fine except for the changable.. ie. the forward and backward buttons.
Is there a way to make only these graghics NOT expand when you highlite them, but still use the altered graghic?
Hope tha made sense, its almost 6am and the wifey is gonna kill me LOL

yep, play with the "effect" scale in the ini..
Code:
[MAIN/DML_BTN]
click_sound=
effect_scale_x=1
effect_scale_y=0
effect_x=-200
effect_y=0
elmstyle=
height=50
hover_sound=
texture_normal=mdml.png
texture_selected=mdmls.png
width=50
x=53
y=366

Yo Fledge68, Thanks for your updates, but could you at least come to irc before you commit a change and if your not able to do that Please dont commit anything...
r766+ broke some important stuff

Thanks

has anyone gotten the prboom plugin working in wiiflow? i have it running fine in retroarch, but cant seem to get it to work from within wiiflow. if anyone whos gotten it running could post their .ini file, it would help me out a lot.

ALSO... my fceugx/vbagx/snes9xgx plugins arent displaying the rom names.. every rom in fceugx comes up as "Nintendo" and every snes9xgx rom comes up as "Super Nintendo" etc. its using the DisplayName for all the games... i have no idea why. im using the .ini files fix94 created which use "arguments={device}:/{path}|{name}|{loader}" not sure whats goin on...

alright here is droidflow 2. thanks to drakorex, doing some excellent work with this. it's now even sweeter then the first one. though i would strongly tell everyone to use default banners. some times they become corrupt.( though i have yet to encounter this.) i think this is more of a custom banners issue. this is why i'm releasing this. (not due to the theme but a custom banners issue.).
here is the change log of what drakorex has worked on. next we are doing source menu buttons, an exit to buttons. thanks again for your help drakorex. :)

http://www.mediafire...4ulztmuc2b0mgr1

droidflow change log
-Main buttons are now zoned
-pods now slide open
-fixed category page button
-fixed home menu buttons, added background
-zero'd out the prev/next buttons, because hitting random invisible buttons is annoying
-animated source menu, plugin,category background
-fixed emunand settings background
-resized cheat back button
-other stuff
issues
-home menu has no USER support, so can't animate
-Can not change pointer for some reason
-Source menu icons are randomly invisible, and custom banners are some times corrupted.

my doom wads are in "sd:apps/retroarch-wii/additional-files/doom" which is how retroarch says to have it setup. if i try loading wads from any other location it just makes retroarch codedump.

I organized my whole setup for easier access and everything I have works just the same.
It says you have your .wads in the app folder? That's unheard of to me. Anyways, I would suggest try using this .ini and see if it helps you any... course you may need to do some rearranging.

I have my Doom WADS, prboom.wad, and the music @ "USB1:/retroarch/Doom/" and both Retroarch and Wiiflow are functioning fine.
