that;s strange that that fixes your problem. It shouldn't really fix your problem because emu-nand should be on 1st partition and all it says is disable the use neek option if emu-nand isn't on first partition. But if it works it works. strange but good for you.

I know fledge, it's really weird.
I tested for an hour yesterday until I found the culprit revision i.e. 713 and reverting those changes just solved my issue.
Still, it's really not necessary to check for 1st partition since this is mentioned in all tutorials.
Also making WF decide to disable neek2o is pointless when the user has the option to do so himself.

I hope this can be fixed before 4.0.2 is officially out

I went and extracted some images from the neek2o forwarder for use with the wiiware games that require it. Thought it might make it easier for initial setup. (perhaps they should be put on the ones you get directly from gametdb) Thought I'd post it for anyone else that wants it. Just copy/paste to an empty corner of the cover.

that does sound like a good thing though. along with the other post . would cause less confusion, when launching a game. if people don't have them sorted out.(most of the game that work with neek only, i have saved as favorites.( i just changed the favorites icon, to a neek icon, on main menu.( so instead of favorites mine has a neek icon for sorting,i really don't have a "favorite" game.)
just watch TIN TIN if your planning on playing that through neek. it has corrupted my neek set up.( if this happens, open sneek folder on usb an delete all the cfg files, then in the nand there will be a sneek file,delete that also.) not sure if any other games cause this. but i did narrow it down to this one game, an trashed a nand just to make sure it was this game.

Adding a button isn't really that hard but you have to know how the code works. As for your neek2o games might i suggest just making a category called neek2o and put all the games that require neek2o in it. then just go to categories and select that category instead of using favorites.

For me cheats are working fine, tested both wii sports resort and mario kart wii, using both d2x v8 final and hermes cIOS v5.1 rodries mod and it worked all four times.

Found out why cheats weren't working. If any game has the IOS on Auto then cheats won't work.
Changed IOS on Xenoblade Chronicles from Auto to 250 and cheats finally worked.

Wow, this discussion went further than I envisioned it. I really don't think adding another button is a solution. Simply putting the neek logo on the covers that need it would be enough to let someone know that the game needs to be ran in neek2o mode. Unless there would be some way to auto set this option for the games that require it, like some kind of titles ini or something.

in the specific games that need neek2o, just open their settings and set the "launch title with neek2o" button to ON... it really doesn't have to be more complicated than that...

When I load a game from the Gamecube menu (DML ) on Wiiflow, whenever the disc is writing something the disc drive lights up. (example loading the games , saving) and it gets kind of annoying.

Is there a way to toggle this?

You're not the first person to ask for this.

There's not a setting, no, but there's a "tutorial" on how to recompile it so it doesn't do that.

For MI2, just put any answer in the copy protection screen and it should be bypassed (e.g. type 00 and 00)

but i need a console (virtual-keyboard) to write it. when i start mi2 is not available.
in other games does the keyboard work.

Thanks for confirming. I've been having this problem for the last week, except my MW3 has exactly the same problem. A few IOS's I set up manually started ok, but then hang in the "Loading..." screen.
I would have tested on newer revisions since 704, but I'm having trouble with Wiiflow creating zero byte wiiflow.ini files since then. Have not found a solution yet.
Even gone to the point of changing all my cIOS's back to V8 from latest V9beta, different versions of Wiiflow, but no joy.

I just tested blackops using a clean r725 installation (new wiiflow.ini, new wiiflow/settings folder) and the game works just fine on AUTO setting here, I can see on my gecko wiiflow properly reloads to IOS250. It also works fine via hermes 5.1 rodries mod here.
edit: same goes for MW3, no problems.

The logo doesn't make things more complicated. In fact it's just the opposite. Instead of launching each game in order to find out, you can just look at the cover and tell.I really don't see any need for further discussion on the topic. If people want to use it, they will, if not, whatever. I just thought it might speed things up on fresh install with getting things set up.

Anyway... @[member='Abz'], I tried out your carbonik theme, noticed that source and home lack a background. Just thought I'd let ya know.

you'r not alone. on the wiiflow ini. i haven't played with 4.0 for this reason, i'm sticking with the last update before 4.0 (i think it's 633.). plus 4.0 gives me random dsi crashes, an freezes on nand section. some times coverflow will show, then crashes.( if it gets that far.).

Hi, I had similar issues with v4.01. Random DSI crashes every now and then. So I replaced it with Revision 726. Since then it all is wiiflowing fine

Has anyone used WiiFlow on the Dolphin Emulator? Can I simply unplug my USB HDD from the Wii and plug it in the PC then start Dolphin and start WiiFlow? Does WiiFlow run at good speed on Dolphin? What's the setup for using Wiiflow on Dolphin?
