ROM Hack Pokemon Origin Platinum

LOVE this patch however im keep getting the error message "An error has occurred: xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT"

can anyone help me with what is actually going on??? I have tried downloading a different version on delta patcher but still doesn't, which version did you end up using DiogoCosta?

The problem is your ROM not the delta patcher.

Thanks for the advice however I've tried numerous different Platinum ROMs and the same error occurs, at a bit of a loss tbh, really would like to play this version :/

Check the following patch. Replace the patch file in the folder with the latest patch. Its name must be patch.xdelta. Then double click the PokemonOriginPlatinum.bat file in the folder and there will be a new file called PokemonOriginPlatinum.nds.

The patch is taken from [member='Drayano']'s topic of BBVW and modified by me.

So... Did someone finished the game with the hack? I want to know if there is any freezes or something for me to be carefull x3 I don't want to battle 10 annoying trainers and then get my game freezed @_@

For this version I was able to get more than halfway through the game, fixing freezes along the way. After the third gym, I didn't experience a single freeze for the rest of my test play.

I stopped my test play shortly after the 5th gym, as I am currently working on putting in Post-Arceus content, and for whatever reason whenever I change scripts, it spawns random freezes throughout the game.

Once I finish putting in the Post-Arceus content, I will do another test run through the game, in which I will make sure I can at least beat the elite four.

However, because of school, progress has been very slow. But V1.5 will be something to look forward to. I've been having fun testing the content =]

^-^ No problem i will beat the elite four quickly U_U x3 but i'm playing pokemon sacred gold and blaze black too ^-^ Origin Platinum/Sacred Gold/ Blaze Black are my favourite hacks ^-^ i'm finishing both of them the last one is origin platinum that i just started ''/ anyway i'm really quick finishing pokemon games x_x But with the hack platinum gets more difficult so i expect to get more fun kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk x3

I found a bug for freeze. In intro when tv turn it off, I press a button to check then it freeze. I can hear music still running but it wont let me move around.

Are you using desmume?I played without any freeze on R4 and i tried to play on desmume and it didn't freeze anyway ,-_,-

Version 1.5 focuses mostly on post-arceus content like challenge trainers from previous games. Trying to think of anything else I could add.

But if I get the time, I will go through and balance the levels of pokemon that you find via surfing and fishing. It bothers me that in an area very far in the game, you'll fish and find level 10 pokemon while your pokemon are level 50+. I want to change that.

However, version 2.0, when I get the chance to make it, will not be an easy conversion unless you are over-leveled, as version 2.0 will be hard mode. When V2.0 comes out, Standard mode will still be V1.5, and Hard mode will be V2.0.

V1.5 will also take a while because it will need to be fully tested. I am changing a lot of scripting in the game, and as we saw with this hack's initial launch, there were a lot of random freezes that started happening in areas that I didn't change anything with the script.

Once I finish up the changes with V1.5, I will need to either test through myself, or have someone test the game for me.

Also, anytime you have an idea for a reference to put in, please feel free to suggest it. I haven't been putting any new references in lately simply because I cannot think of any good ones.

I will think about a idea, is it possible to put fakemon or 5th gen pokemon in the game?
