Hello everyone,

I'm Andrej from Slovenia, Europe.
I'm 38, married with kids.

I've always been interested in technical toys. Now when the kids are able to use them too, I have an excuse to buy them more :)
We have got a PSP about half a year ago.

But since last month I'm interested in Nintendo products, too. Here is my current Nintendo collection:
Consoles : 2 GBC's, black GBA SP ags-001 and Tribal GBA SP ags-101. Nintendo Mini Octopus is my friends.
Games: GBC Legend of Zelda Links Awakening DX, and Smurfs. GBA game Prince of Persia Sands of Time.

I'm searching to buy another ags-101. In our country most of them (which are on sale) are ags001. Up to now I've seen some surf blue and Tribal ags 101. I haven't seen a graphite black 101 yet.
I've bought a black ags-001 model to frontlit one of GBC's. But as it is in mind condition, I don't think I'll canabalize it.
Maybe I will sell to found my next purchase (GB Micro on another ags 101 ) it I'll use it for modification (zereyzhang GBA backlit kit sounds promising).

Andrej

i am pretty sure the tribal never got a ags 101, unless you swapped over the casing to the new model, the ags 101 model wasonly offcially released in pink and blue, there was other colours but they were only released in limited quantities, i didn't know the graphite was rare as i own one myself....

According to Wikipedia there was also Tribal AGS-101:
(copy paste from wiki)
In 2006, the AGS-101 backlit model also saw a very limited release in Europe. The European version was released in "Surf Blue"as well as re-issued "Pink" and "Tribal" editions.

Btw. there is another Tribal ags-101 currently on sale in my country.

I don't know if graphite is rare, but I haven't seen it yet arround on sale. According to Wikipedia it was sold in US:
The North American backlit version comes in three standard colors: "Pearl Blue", "Pearl Pink" and "Graphite" (a greyer version of Onyx Black).

Sweet collection. ;) But no Super mario Advance games?? :P Also, was the black "Who Are You?" GBASP an official release, or did you use an official mod? I never heard of such an awesome edition.
Meh, most of them are bootlegs.
I don't understand how you came to that conclusion. They look real to me, and the pic's not detailed enough to see any real "discrepancies" you would see in bootlegs. Plus, every single one of those carts has the official Nintendo seal, which bootlegs usually lack.

Yeah i know, i was going to edit my post and add that but the whole thing got deleted on my phone so i gave up, it got a limited eu release in certain countries (apart from uk as i've never seen them officially in the shops like game uk) i'm not bothred because i brought my graphite from america as i knew it would never come out here, but unfortunately it has the messed up d pad so i can't play fighting games on it. :(
