2g model is the psp2000.i use a 1g and a 3g,but 1g is not yet supported by pro-online.i never had to even use my cplf on any of the psp's since my psp's can be modded without fail.did you just try and run the update only and not the cplf?
You can't have Perma CFW unless on 6.3X+ without using cipl on a hackable motherboard.
Also you have a wrong idea about the meaning of those ''G's'', they don't mean which revision it is (1000,2000,3000,4000,E1000) but rather it's production wave and which fw it came with (and so the firmware you can downgrade to) a 02g isn't always a 2000.

For the record though, my PSP is in fact a 2000. (I got the Daxter bundle way back when.)

If you're on 6.60 then you will need to run FactRecovery on every startup. Do note that the PSP's sleep mode (when you just hit the power switch instead of holding it for a few seconds) doesn't undo the hack, so unless you're adamant about shutting it down, it's not going to be an issue.

That said, if your PSP is a silver one from the Daxter bundle then it's a TA-085 which means you can install the CIPL. It's likely that the other plugins you had (especially ones like the god eater compatibility one and the 5.x pspstates) was the cause of your problems. Or, you could downgrade to 6.20 and use 6.20's permanent patch.

EDIT: The cIPL is obviously doable since ti was installed, just noting to you that the cIPL wasn't the cause of your issues, it was all the 5.x plugins.

Ah, alright. Thanks for the help, once again. =)
