Gaming [Rumour] Wii U Boxarts

Two places are now listing Wii U titles with boxarts. This isn't anything new as many have been before, however these do look a bit more legit.

Of course this marked rumour until Nintendo themselves show what they look like. Also game prices there are $49.99 Canadian dollarsfor Avengers, $59.99 for ACIII (US & Canadian dollars) & $39.99 for Just Dance 4 (US dollars).

Release dates vary from 1st November to 20th November...Target lists most of its Wii U games for 31st December 2025...yeah. Obviously price and dates could be speculative.

I like the boxart, it's distinctive enough from Wii titles (unlike the 3DS titles were to DS) and it doesn't put too much crap on the front.

If it's real, they look better than the wii box art.

I dunno why, but i hated the look of wii games. Its part of why I hardly bought any games...i didn't feel much from displaying them.

At neogaf, people are complaining about the yellow line. I really didn't think it was that serious.

The yellow doesn't really match the Wii U's colors but that's just nitpicking; these might not even end up being the final cases used anyways.

I think that the shown case art looks pretty nice, hopefully Nintendo will use this kind of art and the blue cases are nice too.

I actually think that the little yellow line looks really good as well.

Looks slick, colorfull yeah my kind of casing. This'll be my generation!(The previous one failed to convince me. I've owned all 3 consoles still own 2 of them...)

I preferred the Wii design, but I like that they've alternated back to the GC style and not gone completely different. I was really hoping they'd go for a blu-ray sized case, like with the PS3. DVD boxes are so 10 years ago.

If you didn't mention that, I wouldn't have noticed. LOL. Didn't have any gripe regarding Wii's or 3DS' boxarts to start with. Liking these ones too Maybe my standard is just too low..... O____o

Is somebody able to edit one of the covers and remove the yellow line so we can compare both?
