Hardware 8 GB sd card is now 255 mb?!?

So I'm downloading the wii linux for my wii and on my tv screen and it ask me do i want to reformat into a exfat and I say yeah, so it starts to extract files on my sd card now I'm thinking I am About to have the same 8gb as before, but I was wrong after It got Done extracting/Installing I took it out my wii and I put it in my computer and It said I only had 255 mb so... I need to know how do I get my 8gb back do I need to reformat it into it original fat 32 format or do I need to download a special tool for my sd card? OR There Isn't any possible way to fix this.

Yes you will. You may have to do it through windows disk manager to be able to delete the partions and reformat

If you are using linux(which I assume you are using), you should use a different computer that has windows and what not. I really don't exactly know what you are doing, but from the sound of it you want to hack you Wii, right?

The only way to run Wii Linux is to hack your Wii.

I'm using wii linux and I'm using windows also I'm trying have my wii like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oPdRIagtFE], but Idk how to that Desktop Display I know how to do the text thing, but not that so I was just like forget Ill just download some movies from my pc harddrive and also lol my wii Is already hack/modded whatever its been like that for a While and I haven't had no problems at all I just wanted to use this for internet really because the wii internet app is crappy as hell lol.

I'm on disk manger and I see 255mb and my 8gb I'm trying to delete my 255 mb and restore my 8gb, but its not deleting it only gives me a option to delete 8gb?

I Tried to delete it and it said the operation is not supported on removable media and then I tried to delete both and it didn't work (Sigh) I just got to find a way around this.

Perhaps Panasonic SD formatter will get the job done? https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/eula_windows it's really the only thing I've used for formatting SD cards in the last few years.
