Anyone else play Tribes? If not, you should. My name in-game is the same as it is here.

It might be because I suck at the game, I'm running on a low resolution, or they changed it in a patch, but I find that the spinfusors (or any other weapon requiring good timing) is much easier to use than bullet weapons. Even if what you said is true, I don't mind. It's my fault IMO if I die to a bullet weapon.*stuff about hitscan*
Love the game, but I hate the fact my Macbook Air only has an Intel HD3000 and refuses to run at 60FPS at a resolution other than 800x600.

The thing is, people tend to move so fast in this game that it's rather difficult to hit your opponent 80% of the time. Spinfusors and other weapons have splash damage, so you only need to time your shots for when enemies touch the ground (unless you play the game enough to know the timing of hitting someone in the air).I dunno how it could ever be -easier- since bullet weapons are literally "have the enemy in your crosshair and fire till dead" where as any other kind of weapon requires you to understand the speed of the projectile and lead appropriately (which admittedly isn't that hard, but there's just no way possible that it's easier).
That said, other weapons were buffed to try and make them comparable to bullet weps, so if you can hit your opponent even 80% of the time, you'll always kill someone with a bullet weapon. But in a game like Tribes, fighting someone who knows what they're doing...good luck hitting that well.
