I updated my card to the newest firmware 1.15 yesterday and then decided to update the EOS too. I formatted the micro sd card and then copied over the eos files but now my 3DS and DS Lite don't recognize it at all. Is there anyway to fix this?

When you say 'don't recognize it at all' - what do you mean

When you switch on - (I'll use the DSLIte for an example) - do you see nothing above 'pictochat' & 'ds download play'
or
Do you see 'dstwo www.supercard.sc' ??

If it's 'nothing at all' - then I'll check your microSD card is inserted correctly... if it not in properly - the card doesn't show up
(see the 'Tips & Tricks' /' How to improve the connection of the contact' on this thread for info)
or it's possible you didn't format it correctly - did you use the panasonic SD formatter or Windows own format facility (I assume you are using Windows) - Windows DON'T follow the proper way of formatting SD cards, so you may end up with problems

If it shows 'dstwo...' etc but when you try to start it it comes up with a message like 'this card is not recognise' (or something about restarting the DS again) the it's possible you haven't updated the DSTwo correctly (although this I think only occurs with DSi & 3DS & not DSLite)

If it starts up & you don't get a message like above, but you don't get to see the DSTwo 'plugin menu' (as it it locks up) - then recheck you installed the EOS properly,

Yeah, when I turn it on my ds doesn't show anything above pictochat and download play. Do I need specific settings for the formatter? I was using windows to format up til now. And I've made sure it has been inserted correctly.

A format will not make the cart show up, it sounds like a contact issue to me, but on two consoles, what's the chances of that?

His flashcard is bricked. Anytime I hear about updating and the updated flashcard not showing up on two different DS consoles...I can safely deduce, with about 99.9% certainty, that the flashcard is bricked.

Tried to do this

With my friend's AK2 but no luck

If the card doesn't show up at all on your ds, the SD card can't possibly be to blame and formatting it would not fix it. (Normally, when you insert a flashcard without an SD card it will still show up; meaning that the sd card does not have an effect on the card's readablilty) Granted, something from the card is the cause for the bricking of the cart's firmware. With the issues you're describing, the problem is with the flashcart's firmware, not the SD card. I don't know much about your cart, but my AK2i and my friend's are having the same exact issue. They suddenly became unreadable by both of our systems. I will attempt to reflash them sometime this week. Try to reflash the firmware on your cart if you can to un-brick it, if you can't you may have to get a new cart.

I don't think I can fix my firmware without unbricking it first.

Fixing the firmware would unbrick it. AceKard lets you flash the firmware using a second working flashkit (Which I no-longer have, so I'm out of luck too) It seems that we would both have to get new carts. Sorry I couldn't help you find a way to fix it, good luck

It's fine, thanks.

Did it work after you updated your firmware but before you put on the latest EOS?

I updated first

With the EOS was I supposed to just delete my old files and then put in the new ones?

I don't remember what EOS I had before but I just skipped to the May 21st one.
