I updated my card to the newest firmware 1.15 yesterday and then decided to update the EOS too. I formatted the micro sd card and then copied over the eos files but now my 3DS and DS Lite don't recognize it at all. Is there anyway to fix this?
When you say 'don't recognize it at all' - what do you meanI updated my card to the newest firmware 1.15 yesterday and then decided to update the EOS too. A format will not make the cart show up, it sounds like a contact issue to me, but on two consoles, what's the chances of that?
I can't say that due to not knowing where you problem lies, you could try this to see if this is the problem http://gbatemp.net/t...contact-issues/
Take a screenshot of the root of your MicroSD card or list the directories (folders).
His flashcard is bricked. Anytime I hear about updating and the updated flashcard not showing up on two different DS consoles...I can safely deduce, with about 99.9% certainty, that the flashcard is bricked.
If the card doesn't show up at all on your ds, the SD card can't possibly be to blame and formatting it would not fix it. (Normally, when you insert a flashcard without an SD card it will still show up; meaning that the sd card does not have an effect on the card's readablilty) Granted, something from the card is the cause for the bricking of the cart's firmware. With the issues you're describing, the problem is with the flashcart's firmware, not the SD card. I don't know much about your cart, but my AK2i and my friend's are having the same exact issue. They suddenly became unreadable by both of our systems. I will attempt to reflash them sometime this week. Try to reflash the firmware on your cart if you can to un-brick it, if you can't you may have to get a new cart.

I don't think I can fix my firmware without unbricking it first.

Fixing the firmware would unbrick it. AceKard lets you flash the firmware using a second working flashkit (Which I no-longer have, so I'm out of luck too) It seems that we would both have to get new carts. Sorry I couldn't help you find a way to fix it, good luck
Did it work after you updated your firmware but before you put on the latest EOS?
I mean did you try the DSTWO after you updated the firmware, but before you updated the EOS?
I'd recommend trying to set it up again from scratch before declaring it completely bricked.
