Okay, so I have an R4i 3DS (the one from r4i-gold.com) and I have tried a lot of things (patched version, patched it myself, formatted card, got the 54mb version and patched that one, formatted SD card and added games one by one) but nothing seems to work, I always get stuck in loading and then "error 4". Did anyone get it to work on that R4 or should I just give it up?

FINALLY GOT THE THING WORKING!How:i used the latest firmware from the r4i sdhc website,downloaded a clean rom,used this patch: http://www.mediafire.com/?as1b9cmqhdh7c9r ,and ran it without opening YSmenu

I downloaded and installed both upgrade packs for supercard dstwo. And it's still not working

Finnaly got it working Used the new files at the front page. Used the RGF files and the YSmenu files. Going through tutorial now. ( r4isdhc ) Tx all for the help and support!!

Well, unlocked the last three kingdoms before Nobunaga, and my Eevee is now over 60%. It's been really tempting to use the stones I was given (I was so, so, SO tempted to turn it into a Jolteon for the flying kingdom), but damn it, I think I want to make it into an Umbreon, as a dark type would be fairly advantageous. Sadly, this kingdom chock full of ghost types leaves me having to go the route of brute (elemental) force at this point in time, since I haven't found any ghost types otherwise, and the only dark type among my warriors doesn't even use a dark type move.

Ah well, I've managed to get this far (those fliers gave me one hell of a time since my Charizard was essentially stranded, something I didn't know that would happen), so I figure I can fight my way through these last three kingdoms well enough. Gotta say, Oichi's warrior skill has saved my ass a number of times when I was in some tight spots. It's slowly becoming less useful as I find 50 HP isn't that much anymore (a super effective attack can knock out upwards of 150 to 170 right now), but if used strategically, it still has its place. I just wish I could get a moonstone so that I could evolve that damned Jigglypuff. Double Slap is, by far, the most useless move amongst every one of my warrior's Pokemon.

Im not really new to this site but im pretty new to posting in forums and what not(JUST MADE ACCOUNT) but i have been reading a little and i just cant find the answer for me. Since im new to flash carts and what not I need a little extra assistance. I have a R4 gold Pro that i use on my 3DS i have the latest firmware from the website EVERY game I have works for the most part except this one. Pokemon Conquest. I've tried tons of things downloading patched roms trying the R4 thing on the front page...the thing is..idk what type of R4 my flash cart actually is it uses wood kernel or something. If anything in this forum can help me get conquest working i would really appreciate it. ): tried tons of the things already stated and I still got nothing...sorry if im violating any rules.

I seem to be having difficulty with running the rom and I'm not too sure why. I have just a basic R4 that works with the original DS so I used the patch provided in the OP and applied it to the rom and yet I'm still getting a white screen when I try to load up the game. I've tried different roms but to no avail. I am also using the latest version of Wood R4 and whatnot as far as I know so I'm not too sure the problem might be.

PLEASE someone help me. I have an r4i gold plus with the latest firmware and I've tried the pre patched game/ clean game, but it still says error 4. Anyone with an idea?

Wood R4 v1.49 was just released today. Try it with the clean ROM (no patch), and good luck.

I forget which, but it wasn't too terribly far in. I noticed the ability once I unlocked the ability to battle Illusio and the other kingdom next to it. Potentially it was while I was fighting the three kingdoms before them. Regardless, it isn't too terribly far in. It's potentially after Illusio and such, but I don't think it was that far in.

It's after conquering the 4th kingdoms if I remember right, with the 4th usually being Violight, though if you don't mind grinding it doesn't have to be and go for the fighting one instead.
I should mention that you should use passwords when you have warriors that you think will do good with the pokemon, otherwise it'd be a bit of a waste. All warriors have a perfect link with a certain pokemon which lets their Link rating go up to 100% as opposed to 70% or 40% and the like, well it probably won't matter in single player but if you want to have the strongest pokemon that's thw way to do it, it seems.

There is something odd about this ROM on the Supercard DStwo, I have been playing for a while now, but the I feel like the loading times are very long when compared to the japanese version and when I started the game the first "cutscene" had a lot of sound problems, it works great on my m3 real with the patch and YSmenu though.
I am using the updated EOS that came out for this game a few days ago and running it in clean mode.

When you are selecting the game, press X and change from patch to clean mode and it should work.

The name of my rom is "6039-Pokemon-Conquest-(U).rar" try to use that one in clean mode.

...and don't trim the rom. Seems obvious, but a lot of people do this.
