A friend of mine just asked a minute ago where the IPS files from this thread go on his Acekard to fix a "leaked" ROM of Black 2 (U) that he found. He had no idea that not only was his leaked ROM fake, but that ROMs for one Pokemon game do not work on another just because they're in the same series.

However, I was able to convince him to try this game instead even though he automatically assumed "Pokemon Conquest" meant "Pokemon Beastiality Factory".

I'm sill getting the same "Data cannot be read error" even after trying the solutions marked in the thread, anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Im running an AK 2.1 with the latest AKAIO (1.8.9z and newest loader)
I just solved it.
I just deleted the akaio+the loader and "reinstalled" it.
Remember to put the loader in the aio/loader/

Oh, well don't I feel stupid. Just realized the loaders folder changed from ak2loaders to just loaders. Thanks, finally got it running

Those who were previously stuck on loading screen, how did you fix it?

I'm Using 1.8.9z AKAIO with latest loader, redownloaded rom a couple of times, used
1 - Manual patch with Lunar IPS
2 - Dicastia
3 - Someone's own IPS Patcher

Bypass Anti-Piracy disabled and enabled, each interval tested I had the .sav deleted.

I don't understand how there could be a 47MB one, while also being a 56MB one. The only conclusion I can reach is that the 56MB is untrimmed, while the 47MB one is trimmed. Besides, I don't think there's a 47MB container for nds roms.

If patching the (presumably) trimmed one also works, that is great though. :)
The different sizes people are reporting are the compressed archive sizes, not the ROM itself. The 47MB and 56MB are irrelevant. A "clean" (untrimmed) ROM would be 256MB. What you want is the one with a CRC32 of BB2616E3.

Then it seems my problem is not the rom.
*has deep thinking*

Same here. Anyone else getting this? Tried two different dumps of the ROM and both had the correct CRC32.

Disregard my earlier post. Tried this and it worked. Thanks a million!

Didn't even know there was a new pokemon game until i saw this topic. At least it's not the same rinse and repeat shit they shove out every year. Being a srpg i couldn't resist trying it, so far the game seems a bit bland and simplistic when is comes to gameplay but i haven't evolved anyone yet so i'm still hoping that there's more to come.

Does anyone know why the ENG version won't read my Japanese save file, even though they're named the same thing?

So I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I don't know if this is going to be a problem for everyone, but I got it running in Supercard DStwo. It boots up perfectly fine and worked 100%. I saved and quit, but upon trying to open up the game again (still having it set on "clean") the game would not load it will hang on the white screen. I'm thinking that the game will only work if you're starting up a new save file. I started a second save file and it worked fine, but if I try to load my old one it will not boot up. So.....don't turn off the game?
Am I the only one that experienced this?

Because they are two different games. It's like trying to get a save file from a Zelda game to work with a Mario game. It just won't work I'm afraid.

Simply renaming the saves does work sometimes but it isn't a 100% of the time fix. You may have to find and run it through a converter or just start over. I seem to vaguely recall some basic hex editing for Wii saves, but not clearly enough to help you. Sorry, but those are some ideas you might look into.
