I would suggest to uninstall the cIOS and leave 249 and 250 there. Oh and try r361, booting games should be much more stable now.
Ok, I deleted everything but 249 (base 56) and 250 (base 57).

Monster Hunter Tri set to auto IOS and it runs. Monsters vs Aliens set to auto runs. Yeah!

Running Monster Trux Offroad code dumped with auto-IOS selection and then returned to WiiFlow. With either manual setting to 249 or 250 it black screened. Subsequent attempts at auto IOS selection black screened.

It is an IOS 21 game.

Another IOS 21 game - Monster Trux Arenas code dumped the first time I ran it with auto IOS and the second time it black screened.

Another IOS 21 game - CSI: Hard Evidence gave me a completely green screen - 1st time I've ever seen that.

At one point were you doing translations for IOS bases?

I will check other games needing different IOS's but I think there is a problem here.

Forgot to say but I compiled and am using r361.
Sorry, had some real work to do :)

I checked the games that code dumped/froze in r361 in CFG and they ran fine under 249.

Will compile the latest version and try again.
Same problems in r364.

I went back to r348 and they all run fine with just cIOS 249/250 so something happended between then and now :(

yep, i have mine set to 10 frames with a 0.2 delay, the gif is an example of how it would look but it has more frame which can be reduced to fit my current build

I just pulled the old graphics in and updated the gui/video.cpp from r364 to cycle through all 10... Haven't seen it in so long I forgot how good it looked :)

Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor (R5SERW) which uses IOS 33 fail in WiiFlow but works fine in CFG. Going back to r348 and it worked so there is something seriously wrong in this rev.

Just built r365 and the following are all code dumping when running them:

Monsters vs Aliens
CSI: Hard Evidence
Monster Trux Arenas
Monster Trux Offroad
Monster Hunter Tri
Mario Party 8

Mario Party 9 just blackscreens and hangs

Mario Kart works :)

I think this rev has even more problems than the last one.

I can explain you why, I removed the linker script we have, it was some dirty solution to keep wiiflow working, after removing nothing really worked properly, especially game launching. Now I'm trying to get it back to work, but thats not really easy. And for some reason, now its random if a game boots or not, I'm still trying to find out why, without the help of dimok wiiflow prolly wouldnt boot games at all :P

For me Monster Hunter Tri just blackscreens too, Mario Party 8 and 9 working, Mario Kart too, I dont have the other games...
edit: Monster Hunter Tri booted on third attempt.

I'm too far in cleaning up to revert everything again :P
No disrespect intended but a USB loader that doesn't load reliably isn't very useful :(

If you don't fully understand what the linker did to be able to replicate it's functions in code and dimok isn't available to help than it may take a lot more time to fix the problems that crop up than to merge the changes you made since r351.

I have over 1200 games that used to work almost perfectly in Wiiflow (Kirby's Return to Dreamland and The Smurf's Dance party being the exceptions). I really don't want to start testing each of them again with new rev after new rev.

I am hopeful that you will find and fix the root cause for the games loading sporadically but I am going to be using r351 or cfg until then.

You may checkout r366, things get better for me, monster hunter tri, mario party, all run fine for me now without blackscreening sometimes :)

I tested the following games and ran them all 4 times:

Monsters vs Aliens
CSI: Hard Evidence
Monster Trux Arenas
Monster Trux Offroad
Monster Hunter Tri
Mario Party 8
Mario Party 9

Each would ocassionally work, but much more often code dump and return to WiiFlow after 5 seconds or code dump and hang or green screen and hang.

I don't see any better stability.

Mario Party 9 - black screened the 1st 2nd and 3rd times - rebooted after each.

Mario Party 8 - code dumped 1st time - returned to WiiFlow, 2nd time ran fine, 3rd time code dumped

Monster Hunter Tri - worked all 3 times

Monster Truck Offroad - code dumped 1st time (pic below) - returned to WiiFlow, 2nd time black screened and hung - rebooted, 3rd time code dumped - returned to WiiFlow

Monster Truck Arena - code dumped all 3 times

CSI Hard Evidence - worked 1st time - exited to WiiFlow, worked 2nd time - exited to WiiFlow, 3rd time green screen and hung - rebooted

Monsters Vs. Aliens - worked all 3 times I tried it - exited to WiiFlow.

One thing that I did differently is remove all plugins from the usb:\wiiflow\plugins folder. Not sure if that would make a difference.

Your r366 seems a little more stable than mine. I ran a binary file comparison and they are not identical. Should I be worried about that? I deleted all my files and did a clean check out of r366 before compiling.

I have 1151 games on a 2TB FAT32 single partion drive. I use real nand, no emu nand for me.

Wow, how do you fit all the save games in your nand? I have it full up with just around 200.
I don't think my kids play more than a few dozen of them... I am just a collector :)

I have another 63 that won't fit on the 2TB drive so I think I have all the English speaking ones, plus 707 Wiiware/VC games which I am pretty sure is all of those too.
