Thanks everyone for giving out specific on card compatibility, etc. I updated the first post. If I missed something, please let me know and I'll update it.

Just updated. Have DSL so in not scared of cart blocking.
Immediately tried DS2, failed, checked DS2 site, they already have a fix posted. Now that's customer service!

I wish the folders could contain SD card contents like pics and video so they can be organized.
Since I'm not an ambassador or e-shop junkie, there's not much use for folders but for junk.
Warning info, download play, nintendo zone and music player all in junk folder. Joy :/
Add video sorting and ill be excited. This was next to worthless.

Why would I WANT Nintendo to be able to patch exploits so easily it wouldn't even be funny? (I know Nintendo just says 'patch games' but we all know that's just sugarcoating what it's really for)
I'll stick with with the previous firmware thank you very much.
Well, it's a fact that they will be patching their games. Mario Kart 7 especially.

I just hope it's mandatory before going online, or else the patching is pointless.

It will be.

What AK2i firmware is compatible with the new update? As you guys were saying, the Narnia icon no longer works.

The Acekard was blocked with the new update, so use this update http://www.acekard.c...s4.0_dsi144.zip
I tried that, and nothing seemed to change. I put it in the root of the microSD and I still have the Narnia icon. I'm using the DSi version of the firmware.
you didn't run the nds file

Can someone check this too to confirm if this is true.

I SWEAR my 3ds is running faster and more smoothly than before.

Launch times and close times are faster than before. Anyone else notice this?

Also this seems suspiocious... (Increases the system security with automatic security updates.)

I agree.
Opening and closing titles seems to be faster.
