Im getting ready for highschool next year and im wondering on what to expect and what to do, so can anybody help me out here? Also can anybody tell me how the I.B. Program is/was if they are in it?

Full of idiots much like the rest of the world. You have the jocks and the popular crowd, which no one outside of them give a shit about. Try to steer clear of the morons, choose your friends wisely and if you believe something is being done wrong, say so...teachers and staff aren't always right and as long as you present a valid argument it should work in your favor! Other than that, try to keep up on homework and projects. Don't leave anything til the last minute, get it done asap.

In reality tough, you can learn a lot more just surfin' the web and watching history/discovery channels etc.

Well high school is different in England but I'm going to comment on it anyway

It was awesome. I loved every second, I knew everyone and got along with most people. High school is fun when you're a bitch.

I actually prefer high school over Middle School and Elementary.
Personally I found alot more things to do in high school and since I was older I had a bit more freedom to do stuff.

Also Jr. And Sr. year are the easiest while Sophomore year is IMO the hardest.
Never really had an issue with Freshman year, I had alot of upperclassmen friends.
You'll do fine so long as you don't act like an outcast.
Also homework be important so do eet.
