Arhg ... didnt see that, I genuinly thought I was first. doh. His post is much better than my lame attempt too.

I'm so excited though, I'm downloading it now on my sparkly new Ice White 3DS, just over 1000 blocks on the SD card.

Never played this before so I am really looking forward to playing the game.

Enjoy folks, and read that other persons post.

Had my first playthrough of the Demo and it was a bit odd. First off the 3D effect is great but hurt my eyes a bit because it's really all deep into the screen. My main probLem is I had a browse through all of the options and camo and facepaint and items and weopons first. This is where I must of somehow DROPPED every single item, so .... I also couldnt be bothered to find them so I ran like a mad man. I ran through bullets like superman. I ran through the whole demo and it wasnt untill the very last section that it loaded me a tranquilizer gun lol so I put some people to sleep... x was marked on a map... I went there... Demo over.

Gonna try again without messing with stuff now. Might enjoy it more. lol.

Wish it was a few minutes longer. The cutscene right after this demo ends is pretty cool.

I can't see this demo bringing in many new fans, it doesn't show much at all to get excited about. ):

This game is incredible, but I'm a bit disappointed with the 3DS version. The 3D effect is far too strong, it hurts my eyes. I also don't like the controls. The original controls on PS2 were fine, but for some reason this game controls like Peace Walker. Aiming with the face buttons really breaks the game for me.

The 3D effect is petty impressive, but the game is desperately crying out for a bit of AA, urgh so many jagged edges. I don't care much for the stupid tilt controls when you are on a tree branch or the bridge, its gimmicky and pointless. And using the face buttons to move the camera and aim is just as horrible as I expected it to be. Trying to get a headshot on anyone from a distance is painful, especially considering that at a distance someone's head is only a couple of pixels big. This game is crying out for a bit of auto aim.

Or he can get the PS2 version or HD collection that don't come with inherently flawed controls that need a stupid add on to fix.

I am getting headshots at great distance no problem, if you turn off the 3D the jaggies get 'turned off' too.

I like running back and forth between areas. after time the enemys are back again. the demo can last a long time if you run around. I love using granades, the bodies land funny.

The game does have an auto-aim actually, I found it while I was messing around with the buttons... Dunno where exactly it was tho... You could choose FPS mode, Auto-Aim mode and TPS mode. =S
As for the AA, I agree it should have it... The 3DS can do much better graphics wise, specially compared with Revelations that came out not too long ago.

Cool demo, haven't really played a whole lot of MGS. right now I'm using wrong camouflage on purpose (black) and have deliberately killed my self in various locations cause it's funny. Seems a fun game even if you want to mess around a whole lot. So 3DS version have anything over the original/HD that's worth it? Might pick up HD when it releases on Vita since it'll be more games for the same price.

Is it me or does the 3D get turned off when you aim?
Just you, I'm still seeing the 3D just fine.

The FPS rate really killed the experience for me, stopped playing shortly after I started.
Really? cuz i see the 3D fine until i start aiming with the gun :/ then it all goes 2D... is it a setting then or?

Edit: Ah, i see.

It only happens when crawling :/

Edit 2:And only on FPS mode :/

No they don't, it literally makes no difference at all.
