Hey,

My first post here and I am not an expert on the Wii so apologies if I get confused by any replies haha.

Up until now I have had no problem burning games to disk and playing them using Neogamma, but since acquiring a new LiteOn DVD Writer (eHAU324) I am seemingly unable to burn games.

I have tried using both Nero and ImgBurn to burn the games, and verification states that everything was fine, however when trying to load the game in the Nintendo Wii I get a "DVD error (03023a00), DVD+R/bad burn/DL problem?". I have tried to look this up but it appears most people with this error are getting it as the Wii is too new, however I did not get this message and have played backups before with no issue so very much doubt this is the problem.

I am most likely missing something very obvious and hopefully one of you will point out my silly mistake :)

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi, which brand do you use? I can suggest verbatim dvd-r. If you already use dvd-r discs, then it's most likely a problem with your new drive.

DVD error (03023a00), DVD+R/bad burn/DL problem
In over 90% of cases, this is a DVD+R without bitsetting or simply a bad burn.

Releasing new beta without post hm? :P
Well I tested japanese wind waker, created new save and played to the first dungeon and open the minimap works fine :)

If it says __GXSetVAT patched, it should work. Sorry, could have told you before.

Does this autoload the cIOS with a matching base by default? I'm building an auto-boot version of this for those who bought the new Motion+ controllers and it would be nice if it would choose 250[57] when necessary.

The auto cIOS function should be enabled by default. And if you have a sd card, even the NeoGamma autoboot version would read the config in case it was not default.

Here is the source if you care. Obviously it's like 99.999% your code, I just changed a couple things in main.c and tools.h

Man this is a sweet deal indeed I did not know NeoGamma had AutoIOS loading features :) and @JoostinOnline is it easy to make an app autoboot or can this be done with a simple .bat?

No, you have to edit the source and compile it. Thankfully WiiPower was kind enough to write the code already and comment it out. I just had to uncomment it and update a little of it.

With other loaders you can use WiiGSC (aka Crap) to make channels per-game, but NeoGamma is a disc loader so that's impractical.

Hey! I have a problem using cheats with Neogamma (any version). I used them a lot before, without a problem. And after that I've been using USB to load games. Now my HDD is causing a little problem, so I went back to using Neogamma. But now it says "No SD codes found", even though I pasted the gct file basically everywhere (at the root of the SD, in the "codes" folder, in the "sdcodes" folder, and so on. It still says the same thing. And I know the cheat file is correct because I used it for the same game (same iso) on USB before. Could you help me! I tried neogamma r7, r8 and r9!

I just made a MultiGameDisc. All of the games are PAL with Multi language and I want to play them in Spanish. Bue evrytime I load them are in English. Any Help?

Boot a retail GC disc from disc channel, then your gamecube settings will be updated with the language you set in the system menu.
