So, now in beta 55 gamecube games are not black listed anymore in Sneek+DI mode. But no matter what video settings i use, i get the moving screen issue. Which is really weird, because it happens if i boot in PAL60 and PAL50 mode, and my tv supports both.

Try a fresh install of libogc (just rename your current directory so you can switch back if necessary) and build it. When I was first working on BLIND I had to set each of these manually for it to work:
viWidth
viHeight
efbHeight
fbWidth
viXOrigin
viYOrigin
xfbHeight

This didn't work.
Code:
rmode = &TVNtsc480IntDf;

However, I re-installed libogc later on and decided to try it again. It worked without issue.

I've just installed R9B55 on my up-to-date 4.2 NTSC system with component for video. I have two good backups, F-Zero GX and Wave Race Blue Storm, and have followed the guide in this thread. When I launch one of the backups from DVD-R, it resets the drive, detects the game ID, mentions an audio fix, the screen flashes green, goes black, and resets. I've tried all combinations of forced resolutions and video patching. Any idea what the snag I'm hitting is indicative of?

I just tried my backup of FZero, and it booted up fine for me.
If you havent, make sure in options/GC options to set Gamecube mode to 'internal'.

It's definitely something problematic with my setup, I was just wondering if anyone could help me narrow it down. Happens with all other good backups too. I have the recommended cIOS installed and have v10 of cMIOS from my original ModMii installation. Does this error implicate one or the other?

I got "code dump" error when I tested to load a GC game via DML. (see below)
Any idea ?

"- A GC homebrew compatible cMIOS. If you don't know which one you have, just install a the recommend one. cMIOS and MIOS always overwrite any MIOS or cMIOS you currently have installed. Waninkoko's cMIOS up to rev5(including) are not GC homebrew compatible. All of WiiGator's cMIOS should be compatible, but the original WiiGator cMIOS might suffer from stability issues. Well this should only affect the switching into GC mode, once a game is running, there are no differences. Recommend cMIOS: The one from this thread, because: It's NeoGamma compatible, still allows to play retail GC discs from disc channel without issues, it allows to use the debugger when booting with patched MIOS and it's just best tested and known to work."

When installing the recommended cMIOS based on v10, what IOS do I select in the installer?

That's what it does if you select GC mode MIOS instead of internal or your do not have a cMIOS installed.

What's the last thing it displays on screen?

IOS236, IOS249, IOS250, IOS222, try in that order.

I have no idea. I don't own any GC games, so it doesn't interest me hugely, I just happen to have noticed that the latest DML can be used to load GC games in the latest NeoGamma. I think r12 is the correct one. And I believe you just get a WAD of MIOSv10 with NUSD, unpack it, replace 00000001.app/0000000c.app (name depends on WAD unpacker, only one of these will exist, that's the one to replace) with the 0000000c.app from DMLr12, repack and install the WAD. Then NeoGamma will work.
