I noticed a few Digimon names that were incorrect. Namely, Teriamon is Terriermon (though I understand if that would be hard to insert) and Debimon is probably Devimon (due to the fact that v=b in Japanese).

Hope you don't mind that I edited them.

Also, lol @ line 820.

Im sure Dohsu and Trace are meant to say 'Dos' and 'tres'
The three 'bad guys' are named after the spanish numbers 1,2 and 3 But i guess japanese people pronouce it diffrenent
Uno, dos and tres = Uno, Dohsu, Trace
Is that worth changing?

Also, on line 66 i think. It says 'we obtainedta drop it off quickly
Im think thats a mistake

Oh yh, I almost made that same mistake myself, but i remembered Terriermon was teriamon and lookeed it up.
Took me a while to figure out that Teirumon was just Tailmon which is Gatomon. I had to reference the the japanese to realise. :D

There are quite a few name differences between the JP Digimon and the localized ones, Tailmon/Gatomon merely being one exception. I'm glad that you're with me on using the localized names, especially because there could be players of this patch who love the cartoon with all it's English names and want to jump into this without wondering WHO THE HECK IS TAILMON? and getting irritated because it's Gatomon.

Well, depends on whether it says lopmon or something else, as me and mirby have gone ahead and localized all the names so far,
If it shows lopmon and says lopmon there should be no problem
Sorry Rastsan

One problem: A lot of people who play the games, are fans of the Japanese names of Digimon, so you're bound to get angry fans yell about the English names. I personally prefer the Japanese names, as some names make no sense.
There are also a lot of problems translation wise, like making names even more Japanese.

I understand your point but,
In my opinion. I want to play a translated game, therefore I want to see the translated names which i can related to with the series. Im sure alot more people would get angry over the japanese names because of confusion than the other way around.
If people really want to throw a fit over the english names they should learn japanese and play the japanese game.

True, but when I watched the Animé Subbed for the first time, I thought the Japanese names made a lot more sense.

Mushroomon is a mushroom
Mashmon doesnt hint a mushroom at all
Gato means cat
So Gatomon sounds better than Tailmon. Expecially since nearly everything has a tail in digimon.

I could carry on if needed to change your opinion B-)

I really hope you don't mean "gato" means "cat" in Japanese

No, It doesn't. It means cat in Spanish.

BTW, Tailmon is called that because its tail is twice as long as its body.
