Nope doesn't work on HWID44. The ak team confirmed it.Hmm, has anyone tried this on HW:44 Acekards? I ask because the last two releases didnt work on the good old Acekard with the bump like I have and I wont get access to a DSLite until Friday or Sunday to try and update my HW:44. I am hopeful since this firmware release doesnt say NO_44 in the file name or description on their website. ^.~
I'm pretty sure you can easily recover your ak2i if you swap the cart and reflash. If you have another working flashcart and system, anyways.I bricked one of my AK2i's yesterday by trying to run it on 3.0.0-5 before updating the card to Narnia. I don't know if Nintendo is trying to brick flashcards but it was working perfectly before. No contact issues.
I don't know why I did that.
I tried that -- it just freezes the updater or resets the system.I'm pretty sure you can easily recover your ak2i if you swap the cart and reflash. I tried swapping the memory cards and using different systems, nothing works -- just a blank icon.
Lol, I fixed it.Wow, that's news. O:
I wonder if it also permanently bricks other carts as well... btw, can anybody else confirm about the 'permanent brick'? I guess the ak team should be noted to see if they're aware of it, and see if they can work on an unbricker.

I ran the Panasonic formatter and the put the latest AKAIO and that fixed it.
Sorry to scare everybody.
My updater keeps saying Update is canceled, reboot DS. immediately when it loads up... never gives me a chance to say yes. im using the 3ds update file for the 2.2 3ds. my card is a HW:8181, so it should be supported.
That's what they said in the last update. I have a feeling my AceKard2i is not going to work ever again...From the ReadMe;
This update file DO NOT support AK2i which HWID is '44' temporarily.
