I beat skyrim yes I beat I want to get back into morrowind, but the thing is that I'm having trouble not knowing where to go on quests, so I wondering if there a quest marker mod so that I can pick a quest, and put a marker on the compass or the in game ui would guide me to where the quest is, also is there a mod that would remove the weight limit?

note: I'm using morrowind goty with all expantions and updates also if you tell me"the game is suppose to be played this way" I will ignore you

There's no way to make markers, but I know that one of the expansions (maybe Tribunal) allows you to sort the journal by quest. Since you have the GoTY version, you'll have it. It should help a bit.
Other than that, the best you can really do is ask in-game for directions (writing them down would help too). But I doubt there's a quest marker mod out there, it'd likely take a lot of coding to work.

I've been checking for months and have not found anything on both of the mods that I want thanks anyways

That's okay that you disagree. I find Oblivion to be pretty boring and empty in comparison with Morrowind. Whereas I find myself scouring for Oblivion mods so the experience isn't so bland, Morrowind is always fresh for me.

While the markers may be an issue, all you have to do is read the excellent journal entries. Unlike the last two games, they're actually helpful, and explain not only what, but why you're doing something in full detail, including directions you've heard and interests to keep in mind.

Morrowind had a unique landscape (although dated), much more variety, and an alien culture. Oblivion played it safe, used recognizable architectural styles, added level-scaling (FUUUU), and somewhat dumbed down the levelling system. Sure, Skyrim further dumbed down the levelling system, but the way they did it makes it less like it was dumbed down and more like it's less cluttered, not to mention they removed the level-scaling again.
Sure, Morrowind had it's flaws (the completely chance-based EVERYTHING, the lack of an always-accessible fast-travel system, the incredibly slow walking speed), but set that aside and you'll find a more enriched experience compared to Oblivion. Or you can, you know, get mods to fix some of its flaws.

Let's not make this into a Morrowind vs Oblivion thread. They're both excellent games.
But the OP clearly states that he's playing Morrowind. Lets keep suggestions limited to that game.

Much as I played the game, I never found a mod like what you're describing.

As far as I know and was able to find on google there is no quest marker mod for morrowind and you are far from the only one wanting this, you could try morroblivion which is basically the morrowind world and a part of its quests in oblivion thus with quest markers but other than that there are no mods for quest markers in morrowind .

Why Morrowind and not Oblivion?
Because they are equally both good games and he wants to play Morrowind?
Personally I don't agree at all, Oblivion is much better than Morrowind IMHO, Morrowind is too slow and old to play for me. I get tired of it after 5 hours or so.

hating on a game because it's old isn't a valid argument. it does, however, demonstrate your ignorance. or should i bring up link to the past, mario 3, quake 3 arena, counter strike, half life, deus ex machina, baldur's gate 2, diablo 2, tetris, fallout 2, chrono trigger, etc.?

as for my opinion, i believe that the morrowind world is much more alive than that of oblivion.

as for the OP, i would suggest checking out the mod board for morrowind on bethesda's site. they may not have the quest markers, but there are plenty of other mods that are worth considering.

I played both of them, and right now I've played Morrowind more even though I started Oblivion before starting Morrowind.
But I may be biaised, since Morrowind is on my laptop and Oblivion isn't (Also got a lot of money at lv. 1 along with a daedric katana.)

I'm a big TES fan but Morrowind is just too goddamn slow IMHO, the basics of the game (moving, looting items, fighting, quests) is too much 'work' IMHO, not enjoyable for a longer period of gaming. Old is perhaps a bit overreacted, I meant it was too slow, I don't really care about graphics.

There's tons of mods that fix all of your issues. There's a mod that multiplies your movement by 1.5x IIRC, and a mod that rebalances fighting to actually work. The looting items isn't that sluggish (you can hit the menu key to exit the loot menu), sure you have to drag-and-drop items, but that gives you more control putting items down since there's no item physics system. The quests are slightly more realistic, no technological handicaps (such as waypoints. Get out a piece of paper and ask for directions). Plus the GOTY version (or just the Tribunal expansion pack) provides you with a quest sorting system in the Journal.

@corr0126: That other mod you asked for is unnecessary. You just open the console (that's the ` or the ~ key), and type in player->setencumbrance"200" (replace the 200 with a much higher number). Although it's recommended that you just play the game normally, and make Feather spells or drop stuff if you're holding too much.

Eh, Morrowind probably isn't for people who weren't into TES games when it came out.. Oblivion and Skyrim were dumbed down to appeal to a more broad audience, lol.. Personally, I prefer the lack of quest markers and having to use directions and your brain to get stuff done in Morrowind, it provides a more immersive experience in my honest opinion. Think about it, if our world was like the magical world of Nirn, we wouldn't have quest markers that show us the direction, lol.. We still haven't gotten far enough in terms of optical implants in the real world, sheesh.

Although Skyrim was seriously simplified, I do find it to be more enjoyable than Oblivion in certain aspects. The only thing I would change is the conjuration system, because I loved how it was in Oblivion. It's kind of lame to mainly focus on being a necromancer, or a mage that summons creatures to fight for them, because it was nerfed so hard in Skyrim.

The Arena in the Imperial city was really fun when you summoned a Daedroth, it fubared EVERYTHING.
