Hacking Need help with soft modded wii

Hi, I softmodded my 4.3E wii earlier this year and recently where u would load the discs it came up with system update .. well my partner not realizing clicked on the update and since then the usb loader crashes and comes up with a black screen and lots of very small white writing .. can anyone help with this problem ??

its probably me being me lol but isnt that a guide to mod a wii first time ? i still have all the channels like the homebrew channel, Neogamma, Priiloader and usbloader_gx .. just since running a system update the usbloader doesnt load and crashes the wii ... like i said it could just be me being plain dumb

Saying thanks is not recommended.

@OP: If you already have Priiloader, just enable both Block Updates hacks. Still, resoftmoding with ModMii will give you the latest and greatest. I suggest switching to Cfg instead of GX, but if it works okay then it's fine.

I've tried using modmii to remod my wii but no matter what i do nothing seems to work .. not sure if its the software i used to mod it the first time is different but nothing loads on the hb channel i dont seem to have a priiloader on it and when i try the lego indianna jones exploit again the hack save file is nowhere to be found anyone with any different ideas ?

yeah i've created all the files on the modmii and i've gone through the exploit saved the game and loaded it but when i finish it all and copy the files to the sd i cannot find the hack save but i've even tried the bootmii bit but it doesnt automatically load and when i try and load anything from the hbc it just freezes

You aren't following the generated guide. It tells you to copy the save to your Wii.

Okay, are you following the guide generated by ModMii? It is a text file.

All of the files and folders inside COPY_TO_SD need to be moved to the root of the SD card.

ok i think i've got it all running now .. if i re-mod the whole thing using one of the exploit hacks as i have most things like hbc usb loader and other bits is there any chance i will brick the wii ?

There is always a change you may brick it. If you have bootmii as boot2, and priiloader you can fix a brick easily.

i knew there was always a chance to brick a wii through softmod but i was always told once it's bricked theres no chance of repair .. are there guides on here for that ?
