There are going to be comments about how the system will be hacked by them following mine but man.... I hope it isnt. I love the feeling of being able to have nothing leak early, be datamined, etc.

I'm all for hacking, but I do like keeping things a surprise too :)
So I'm happy that this will be the case.

My main gripe with the easy piracy is the early leaks and everything being spoiled. It was fun to have surprises in Pokopia and I hope things stay like this for a long time (over a couple years at least).
Finally someone on this forum who isnt wanting to pirate every game lmao.

except if the source code got leaked
yeah but my then it will be like 2 years out of date

There's actually a FS dumper for Switch 2 that runs in the old userland exploit they used to run those emulators basically on launch day that can read package contents during install time, so if there is a preload for the game (which there surely will be) then they can use the capture method to export the assets over SSH tunnel to a PC and I'm just making all this up to waste your time.

I just datamined: They will not have all Pokemon in this game

Oh no.
(Why are people buying games with LESS content again ?)

Even if. that /were/, there is no way to decrypt anything...
(And yes, I know this is a TokeJopic)

Then again, aside 1st party and exclusives, any and most games are on pc or other -hackable systems- so it hardly matters.
And seeing as Nintendo is allergic to releasing or announcing stuff lately...

I wonder if anyone has calculated how long it would take to brute force even a single decryption key.

Yes, people have. There isn't enough computing power in the world to bruteforce an encryption key in a time frame that most people can fathom. The number has so many zeroes that it has to be written in scientific notation.

Yeah I knew it was considered impossible I just didnt know the exact notation.
