Unless you opened it up and started stabbing it with a soldering iron, it's unlikely to be "hard bricked" or "fried".I ended up hard bricking + frying my old consoles motherboard somehow.

You didn't bother reading the first post, did you?HI Cyan,
Note From Cyan: I'm not the one writing and maintaining this post anymore
I hope you weren't following a Youtube video. https://3ds.guide is the only source you should be using. After changing the region, I tried to download the Twilight Menu using a tutorial.
You will find that error code listed in https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/3DS:Error_screens/Luma3DS_ErrDisp with appropriate instructions.Error code: 0xc8804478

There's something like that, but it requires you to use fastboot3DS instead of boot9strap, and while there's probably nothing strictly wrong with that, you're probably going to have trouble finding people who can help you with fastboot3DS if something goes wrong.is there a forwarder for open AGB Firm?

probably the biggest reason to not use it ngl.you're probably going to have trouble finding people who can help you with fastboot3DS if something goes wrong.
Perhaps you should consider asking in the Netpass forums for questions about Netpass. So i put up a post on the Nintendo 3ds forum about 5 days ago and it's been viewed about 50 times and no-one has left any advice.

Yo did nothing wrong. Gameyob3ds struggles with many gbc games. You'd better use the ds or dsi versions, which are better optimized.i was wondering if i had downloaded the wrong version of gameyob 3ds,as it lags on games like pokemon prism, this doesnt happen on the DS version and DSi,
i am on version 1.0.8
You can definitely use Gateway with boot9strap and firmware version 11.17. See https://gbatemp.net/threads/setting-up-gateway-luma3ds-on-11-17-guide.640070/ .I've a Japanese 3DS (firmware: 4.5.0-10J), and I use Gateway (GW3D 11.0.0-33J)
So I'm using an emunand, right?
What should I do to use Luma 3DS and Twilight Menu ++? What would be the best choice in my situation?
So the Luma 3ds cfw is overwriting my actual firmware: (4.5.0-10J) or the GW3D one? And what about the gateway and the microsd inside it? Will I need them after installing Luma? You can definitely use Gateway with boot9strap and firmware version 11.17. See https://gbatemp.net/threads/setting-up-gateway-luma3ds-on-11-17-guide.640070/ .
As for how to get there from your current setup, I'm not sure. (If all else fails, you could remove the emuNAND, update, and then re-create the emuNAND.)
Luma is a patch for the official firmware, and boot9strap is used to boot Luma.So the Luma 3ds cfw is overwriting my actual firmware: (4.5.0-10J) or the GW3D one?
That depends on whether you want to keep using your Gateway. (Note that if you want to keep using save data created with your Gateway, you will need to find some way to export it first.)And what about the gateway and the microsd inside it? Will I need them after installing Luma?
I don't have any game in progress, so keeping savedata is not important. That depends on whether you want to keep using your Gateway. (Note that if you want to keep using save data created with your Gateway, you will need to find some way to export it first.)
You should probably test the new card with h2testw while it is empty. And of course you will have to make sure it is properly formatted. (It's easiest to do that with Godmode9.)i have 32gb right now and planning to switch it to 64gb, is moving all files from old sd card is enough?

You don't need to be on an older firmware to mod a 3DS anymore. You can use either MSET9 or ntrboot with a compatible flashcart on the current one you have. 3DS Hacks Guide has the steps listed. https://3ds.hacks.guide/So I brought out an old Teal 3DS out of storage and it wanted to update. I went ahead and it updated to the newest version.
Now I'm not sure how to proceed in modding this sucker.
I'm on Ver 11.17.0-50U
