Have you got Mario kart world? If so, does it play well? I’m wondering how breath of the wild (remastered or not) plays atm. It’s great to hear the pro 2 is good, I hope it’s a bit different than the switch 1 pro controller, that one felt too mushy to me although I never personally owned one as I had a switch lite.
I started playing BOTW 1.8 (not switch 2 enhanced) this morning. Some docked, some handheld. Didn't notice anything really outstandingly different other than much faster loading. It does appear they patched BLSS but I am still able to scope clip out of the SOR, clip into shrines, windbomb, and steal the master sword with a campfire. Haven't collected enough multi-shot bows to try menu overloading and the various glitches that go along with that. Using the joycons and a KK3 Max. The KK3 cannot wake the Switch 2 like it can the Switch.
Other observation, airplane mode automatically turns off when docked.
You also have the option to stop charging the battery around 88% to minimize degradation.
Super Rare Games did the physical release for Fast RMX and that goes for around £100 these days. I'm still gutted I missed out on that one. But it's an easier choice to go digital when it's just a few quid instead.

It's okay, Been playing Zelda Tears, Haven't even touched bravely default yet, Now we have the Lies of P DLC i'll have to wait longer lol.
It's a Switch pro as Mark LFD said.
It's definitely a Switch Pro. Personally, if I was making it a new generation I would've sacked the whole detachable joycon thing and made it a slimmer ROG Ally clone. Just give people a solid handheld with OLED and hall effect sticks and as much performance as can be packed in for the battery size. No need for gimmicks.
So far I like the screen, but the second I turned it on it nagged me to update the firmware, then rune factory nagged me for for an update which is going to take 1 hour 5 mins on my fast connection
then the legal disclaimer said basically if I mod my switch in anyway they’ll disabled my console that’s the long or the short of it.
I had one issue with the switch two complaining that it couldn’t read rune factory game cart for the switch 2
I’m not impressed that out of the box it has game card reading issues on a new switch 2 game.
The console is nice and light but mine arrived opened (not sealed) and had finger prints on it which were a pain to clean off to install the screen protector.
But I will update my thoughts on it after I actually get to play it in an hours time
I’d had to think how long full games will take to download

It's not bad as an upgrade to the Switch, but that's really all it is. A massive bummer that my previous gen controllers won't work 100%, but I'm glad they at least work. Wondering if we'll get USB mouse support in first-party titles. Otherwise? I'll have to 3D print a shell to play Metroid. There is no way to hold the controller in mouse mode that is comfortable for me.
Also, I'm not a fan of Mario Kart World... I can't get past how bad the driving feels..

It's great. I like it, the kids love it so is the wife. MKW is great, I don't care for the rest of the launch games. At least I got the welcome tour for free, so there's that. Still pretty crap that 8bitdo adapter doesn't work with this yet. Overall, happy with the purchased.
For some reason it doesn't connect to my 5Ghz Wifi, but other than that, everything looks fine. Sucks that I am stuck with 2.4Ghz Wifi / 100mbit/s for now, but okay, I'll figure it out eventually
Did you figure this out? I'm having the same issue connecting to a 5ghz network as well. Can't even connect to my phone hotspot on 5ghz
2.4ghz works fine
