Help! my Wii u gamepad doesnt hold a charge, the battery is new, replaced it because last one was "pregnant" the charging LED does not turn on when i connect the charger, i can turn it on perfectly while its connected. when i turn it on while connected the LED turns on blue for a couple secs and then turns off, the moment i disconect the charger while on it turns off instantly. I already tried removing the battery to see if it blinks orange when theres no battery so i guess the gamepad recognizes theres a battery but it does'nt charge... Dunno if its a faulty charger cuz it turns on perfect while plugged, i tried reseting the charger but it didnt work, Please if someone can help me it would mean the world i already asked everywhere. Thanks

Buying "new" batteries for obsolete consoles is a gamble, they have been sitting around in a warehouse for a while and often they are completely dead. My money is on it being the battery.

Are you sure its the battery? is there anything else i could check?

And where did you buy it? iFixIt gives guarantee on its batteries, for example: https://www.ifixit.com/products/nintendo-wii-u-gamepad-replacement-battery

//EDIT:

You could check if the batterie holds any charge or is DoA (shows 0 V) with a multimeter. Also you could check the batteries cables for any obvious issues but to be fair I'm with the others: It's most likely a bad batterie, so try to return it if you can.
Oh i fixit sells batteries? may try buying it there if it doesnt work, ill try the multimeter thing Ps: Unrelated but i love NUSspli really good program

Did somebody test the battery made by ifixit? Like does it really have the mentioned 3600 mAh. I got the big battery pack by Nintendo with 2550 mAh a few years ago. It was already used and now it just holds up to 2 hours of gameplay. There are chinese brands with 6600 mAh on Amazon, but they are obviously fake. At least somebody tested the capacity of such a battery and got around 3700 mAh. What kind of batteries are you guys using with the gamepad?
