Hi everyone, bought at the flea market 2 third-party Multitap adapters for cheap (5 euros each), one for the PS1 and one for the PS2. The PS2 one works fine, there is just some incompatibility between it and the PSXmemcard Gen2. With the PSXmemcard Gen2 connected the controllers don't work, without it, it works fine.
I'm running into a strange issue with a third-party PS1 Multitap on my PS1 with an Xstation installed. The Multitap is a X-5 Xtreme MultipleAdapter" (V-shaped model with Memory Card slots, single console plug). I have the Multitap connected to the Slot 1 of the PS1, the controllers work perfectly inside Xstation menu, however, as soon as Crash Bash boots up and reaches the game/menu screen, both controllers completely stop responding.
I tried plugging a single controller into Slot A only (leaving B empty) but I still get no response once the game loads.
Both pads are official PS1 DualShocks (SCPH-1200 and SCPH-110)
Is this a known issue with third-party PS1 Multitaps? or is there some sort of incompatibility with the Xstation?
