d2x-v11-beta2 with fakemote 0.5.1 can be found here. Note if using it on vWii with the installer app you'll have to rename the ciosmaps_vWii.xml to ciosmaps.xml.

If you're using modmii you don't need to manually download it, just go into ModMii d2x options and select v11-beta2-FM051
Didn't even know there was beta2, anyways, thanks for sharing!! And also, where can I get the normal beta2 files?

For example here (first post in the thread).
Thanks a lot!! So that's why I never heard of it, it released today. =P

@XFlak
When I enter the Fakemote d2x cIOS Installer on my vWii, and then press A, a text with red outline appears saying: "Unable to get the module MLOAD for the d2x-v11-beta2-FM051-vWii cIOS base 38".

And also, why does this Fakemote version has the FM051 after the version? Just out of curiosity.

FAKEMOTE is very good tool but no one is mentioning this, I installed FAKEMOTE successfully on the Wii, I'm using the DS4 controller with emulators the problem is that i feel like there is some input lag, what's causing the problem can we fix it?

The controller is connected via USB, the controller is not the problem since I'm using the controller with the same USB cable on PC

how did you get emulators to work? I'm trying but I can't really get fakemote to work with any emulators. Or are you using virtual console? I could get virtual console to work but only when I installed it on nand, I couldn't get it to work with emunand either. I don't really feel any input lag on virtual console titles though, I tried super mario 64 and kirby 64 and it feels fine.

Through USB LOADER GX. You can use WiiMod Lite aswell but it's unstable for me.

Ok so I've managed to get it to work with wiimednafen, genesis plus gx, Not64 and wiisx, it seems to not work at all with any of the FCE Ultra or Snes9x forks, doesn't work with wiistation even though wiisx works, and I couldn't get retroarch working either, didn't test anything else. The ones that work, work both through the channel forwarder and multi mod manager, the ones that don't, don't work with either.

But with the emulators I managed to get working I can play Genesis, master system(genplusgx and mednafen), NES, GB/GBA, PC Engine(mednafen), playstation(wiisx), n64(not64).

The issue is, I can't play snes games since snes9x doesn't work, anyone got any ideas on what to do about these? I couldn't get retroarch working, and there seems to be no other option besides snes9x and retroarch.

EDIT: Ok managed to get retroarch working, at least on the menu, I remade the channel forwarder and it's working this time though I'm not sure what I did differently, but now I'm getting a "Exception DSI ocurred", but that doesn't have anything to do with fakemote.

EDIT2: Wel I finally got everything working! Turns out the issue was with retroarch itself, the latest version v1.20.0 crashes when trying to access the sd card or usb drive to load content, I downgraded to v1.19.1 and now everything works! Finally I can play every system I want with the dualshock4!

I installed the package on a Wii

BASE IOS 57
SLOT 252
Revision 65535

but am getting this error after changing setting in PriiLoader:

Error autobooting systemmenu!
ES_DiVerify failed! Is the IOS patched?
IOS 252
Systemmenu v513
Priiloader v0.10.0 (r0x02b70b36)

Thanks, it seems to have installed correctly, and I have a PS3 Controller plugged in, but am not experiencing anything different. The controller doesn't effect the menu or any games.

If you're using base IOS57, I think it only works with the USB port 0 (the bottom one on the back of the console). I don't remember if the System Menu works with base IOS58, but if it does, try using that base instead as it provides support for both USB ports. You can also try with a different PS3/PS4 Controller.

is there a way to add a third-party PS3/PS4 controller? I mean, there are certainly original PS3/PS4 controller values in the code. Can they be changed?

I am curious what USB vendor and product IDs Fakemote accepts. I'm trying to get a Mayflash NS2 adapter to work, and it presents a Vendor ID of 0x054c (Sony) and a Product ID of 0x09cc (DualShock 4 [CUH-ZCT2x])

Is it possible that it is only accepting the Product ID of 0x05C4 (DualShock 4 [CUH-ZCT1x])?

I am trying both IOS 57 and 58 with the Fakemote patch in slots 252 and 253, trying those slots as the loader cIOS in USBLoader GX. The controller (well, the Mayflash adapter) is in top rear USB port of Wii U.

This is using d2x-v11-beta3 for vWii.

Hi, 0x09cc is definetly supported.
You can see that in code here:
https://github.com/xerpi/fakemote/blob/b505d467c23d36e0ae644a57b7d3712d904cec79/source/usb_drivers/sony_ds4.c#L313

Cant help you more tho :/ Someone would probably need one of those adapters to proper help

FYI having fakemote installed to slots above 248-251 will take preference in GX's auto ios option. Better to install fakemote to slot 247 and lower, so that auto ios will use 248-251, and if u want to use fakemote u would need to select it manually (unless of course u want fakemote to be used by the auto ios option)

Big duhh on my part, didn't think to actually LOOK in the source code. Yeah, I might have to grab a PS3 or PS4 controller to make sure everything else is working.

If I am really lucky, I'll find one of the Brook ps3/ps4 to Wii U adapters. With the classic firmware installed it emulates a Wii-Mote with classic controller. That would work across both Wii U and vWii, no patches needed.

Right now, I am just trying to get it to work in the USB Loader GX menu screen. I assume the loader IOS setting takes precedence there? I change the setting, exit and re-load USB loader to test. The controller is linking to the mayflash adapter and I can verify on a computer it is using the proper Sony vendor and device IDs and is recognized on the computer via various online HID testing sites.
