My v1 switch is currently on the newest System Firmware, Newest atmosphere and the current sig patches (as of a week ago I’m not sure if new ones have dropped since then) yet Donkey Kong Country Returns HD won’t open with the error “Unable to Start Software. Return to the home menu and try again” anyone experience anything similar or have any way to fix?

Are you sure your sigpatches are working properly? Atmosphere 1.7.0 removed the support for ips kip patches which were primarily used for piracy. Therefore, sigpatches wouldn't work unless you:
  1. Load Atmosphere's package3 via Hekate's FSS0 - You'll need to reboot to Hekate, go to Launch and select emuNAND CFW or sysNAND CFW (depending on which one you use). If you've downloaded the sigpatches from here. your bootloader/hekate_ipl.bin will already have everything you need to have configured.
  2. Use modified Atmosphere's fusee.bin payload with ips kip patches support.
  3. Use sys-patch instead of sigpatches.

Oops should’ve mentioned I don’t use Hekate

Not actively, at least. ^^ In any case, try one of the above-mentioned options and see if any of them work for you.
If not, I'd suggest reinstalling the problematic game with either the latest DBI or TinWoo Installer.

I'm currently still running 18.1.0, is it safe to update to 19.0.1 yet?
Well not all homebrew applications and utilities will be updated to support 19.0.1 but newer games and updates will require that firmware so decide which is more important to you and choose that path.
So are there any ways to connect to the Nintendo servers without them having an actual chance to ban me? I am about to mod my switch v2 and set up emuMMC incognito and tinfoil on my SD card and I don't really plan on playing online, just pirate all the great games switch offers but are there ways to do so without high risk of being banned? Playing Mario Kart 8 or smash bros online would be fun but I don't see myself paying money for them...
The golden rule of bans is to never go online after using any CFW and/or homebrew. As long as you never do that, you will never get banned. For further info related to bans, you can check out this thread.

Is it bannable to play a game that's legitimately downloaded, but owned by a user which has a changed password and not logged in? I wasn't able to open this game before. Since testing sigpatches and syspatches, I'm able to open this game even after disabling and even fully deleting any patches. I havent connected to wifi. Anyone know what might be causing this behavior?
Even though you deleted the patches, you may have installed a fake ticket that allows you to play the game so I wouldn't risk it.
I checked my tickets using DBI and the tickets are personalized for all base games. Does sigpatches leave any residual modified data or flags, given no other software is ran? I haven't been able to find a similar situation in the forums to understand why me being able to play that game would change

Does Nintendo Switch keep logs about games that was played even after doing a full factory reset? I am planning to use migswitch offline, then after some months, when i decide that i want online services or enough with these games, I will do factory reset and go online with legit games, will I face a ban anyways? Or that is not possible?

Or maybe you need to be online to do factory reset? I don't remember but I think I was required to go online to do the factory reset.

In a sense, yeah.

By no means I'm an expert so don't take my words for granted but if you're using MIG Switch for piracy, you have a high chance of getting your console banned. At the very least, you must make sure that you're using the complete full dumps of the games on your MIG Switch SD card (i.e. no incomplete and/or mixed dumps with borrowed certificates) and that no other user is online with the same copy of the game with the same cert files at the same time online (not sure if this extends to the people that are only playing those games offline at the same time due to the telemetry data that your Switch and, by extension, Nintendo collect).

I've seen cases where people used full dumps, were playing offline and, apparently, they still have access to eShop after a factory reset (which doesn't really do much, especially not for clearing the telemetry). For all I (or we?) know, as soon as you eventually connect your Switch to the Internet and your telemetry data gets sent to the Nitnendo servers, depending on what they find your Switch might get at the very least flagged for ban.

From what I've seen, there are only two ways where you'll avoid getting banned:
  1. By dumping your own physical games and using only them on your MIG Switch. - Make sure that your games wasn't previously dumped by someone else (i.e. bought new or used from a trusted source). Not sure how many people have dumped their games and shared them online before selling their physical copies, but probably not too many?
  2. By restoring a clean NAND backup created after you went offline but before you went online and successfully connected to the Nintendo servers again. - Log mismatch between your Switch and Nintendo servers usually leads to console ban. Staying offline indefinitely just delays the inevitable. The problem with this method is that you need to already be able to actually make a NAND backup and that requires either having an unpatched v1 model or a modchip on the patched models and, if you have either of those, you can already run Atmosphere CFW and you don't really need MIG Switch to begin with.
There's a third way as well that's similar to the first one, but requires forming a smaller group of friends that share their full dumps. In this case, it's less likely that both of you will be online at the same time, I guess. @TheStonedModder might be able to tell you more about that as his Switch is still not banned to this day last time I checked.

Or maybe you need to be online to do factory reset? I don't remember but I think I was required to go online to do the factory reset.
Nope. You can do it without ever going online. Linking NNID is not possible without going online, though.

Can confirm my switch is still unbanned

That being said the “small group” is only 3 of us me included. So if anyone does this with more then 3 people total YMMV

Unexpected crash that caused the corruption or something? After a check, if everything's right, it usually goes away and lets you play the game.
I've only run into it once and that time I needed to replace the microSD card that came with my Switch with the new one. I didn't have any issue afterwards. If you've been using your SD card for a long time, it might be a time to replace it. Also, your microSD card could be just fine and you run into the error by coincidence.

i dont know if I expressed myself clearly:

gamedid not crashed, like, ever!
on game check for corruption, nothing was found

sd is sandisk 256gb not ever show any error.

i just dont know what the mark means....still there....

Does anyone know a fix for wired pro controllers on SysCFW?

I have a Retroflag. It all of the sudden stopped working on SysCFW, but works fine on StockFW. Are there any software tools available that might can force the Switch to recognize it again on SysCFW?

I've searched hard for a solution, any sort of direction is greatly appreciated!

I was not sure if this belonged here, so I made a thread here, but if anyone can help with this I would appreciate it greatly.

SOLVED - solution in thread

Hi.
I used NXNandManager to backup my sysnand and emunand directly to pc, and it worked but I noticed there was info missing in the app and I think it's because I didn't use prod keys, but since the backup finished, can I assume I didn't need it? Or do I need to redo my backup?

Is the prod keys only needed for recovering ?

I would recommend make a copy with Hekate too.
