Why does Tinfoil describe Atmosphere as "Worst CFW", and Hekate as "Really bad bootloader"? Are these self-descriptions from Atmosphere and Hekate or has the writer of Tinfoil hardcoded their opinion? Are there better CFW and bootloaders?
hey thanks but if i use stock for my cartridge games, i wouldnt be able to edit my save files using JKSV.You should use stock not sysmmc if you want to play online and no nsp installed on sysnand ofw.

Because the Tinfoil programmer is a drama queen trying to create bad ambient on the scene and trying to get economic earnings. Why does Tinfoil describe Atmosphere as "Worst CFW", and Hekate as "Really bad bootloader"? so there is no way i can play my cartridge games connecting online in sysmmc with tinfoil there in sysmmc? i need to edit my save files with jksv in SysmmcIf any nsp shows up on your sysmmc then you are going to get flagged for a ban, as for 90dns/exosphere isn't recommended if you want to play online.

Blawar is a drama queen lol.

Nop, once you «dirt» a NAND there is no way to connect that NAND to the Big Ninja servers without being banned.would removing tinfoil from the hbmenu in sysmmc helps ?

hey sorry its not the tinfoil appearing in the album button in sysmmc( you guys call it hbmenu?) but the tinfoil installerCan't use tinfoil as it create a forwarder on the homescreen, if you go online with it you will get banned.

The main menu of the console is Called HOS, there you see the recent used/installed applications (forwarders are special applications which load a NRO directly)hey sorry its not the tinfoil appearing in the album button in sysmmc( you guys call it hbmenu?) but the tinfoil installer
i must have overpanic as i thought the same icon looks alike
my HOS in my sysmmc is blank, i have not insert my cartridge games yet. is those apps inside the album button the HBmenu? The main menu of the console is Called HOS, there you see the recent used/installed applications (forwarders are special applications which load a NRO directly)
HBMenu is called HomeBrew Menu or Homebrew Loader, you can start it taking over an application by pressing the [R] button while loading any application or by executing the menu applet, on this case the HBMenu loads on applet mode (reduced memory and resources)

The HBMenu show you all the NROs on the SDMC:/switch folder and subfolders.

If you haven't run any HBMenu application which modify the NAND you are safe to connect to net and not beeing banned.my HOS in my sysmmc is blank, i have not insert my cartridge games yet. is those apps inside the album button the HBmenu?
am i safe since i did not see tinfoil in the HOS screen in my sysmmc ? and can i remove the tinfoil installer icon in sysmmc as shown ?
im sorry , i am quite noob about NAND modifying application in HBmenu. The only application i am running in sysmmc is ftp pro, jksv and goldleaf. If you haven't run any HBMenu application which modify the NAND you are safe to connect to net and not beeing banned.
in order to avoid bans, read the thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-banning-hub-warning.508710/

On normal use of that Homebrew there is no problem to connect online. unless you use JKSV to cheat. but if you read your SYSNand saves edited and RESTORE/USE them only on Emunand there is no problem at all.The only application i am running in sysmmc is ftp pro, jksv and goldleaf.
Tinfoil on SYSNand is a problem only if modify your SysNand, by example the NRO version which install a HOS forwarder or you install a game on SYSNand, on those cases your SYSNand become «Dirty» and if you connect it to Ninja Servers you probably will be banned.lso can i remove the tinfoil installer in sysmmc ? i think i have to go into switch folder and remove that .nro ?

try updating sys-clk if you have it since older versions of sys-clk on fw 19 have issues with thisI updated my emuMMC to 19.0.1 but for some reason it doesn't wake up if I put it to sleep anymore. I have to force restart my Switch every time. Is there a way to downgrade?
from what I found minimum firmware version is 17.0.0Does Mario jamboree need a certain fw.? To run? It's load up but crashes on selecting 1/2 players ?-and need to power off console
