Hello guys,
I've tryed to install the picofly modchip on my Switch V1(Patchable). I've modded some V2 before deciding to mod a V1. So i followed an onli e guide and i've isolated all well with the kapton tape and everything seem works fine. So i closed the switch, booted again with hekate and everything worked as a charm. Before going to sleep, i powered off my switch and restarted because i was making some tests but i had forgotten to insert the sd card into the switch and righty appared "No SD Card", after this something happened, the screen starts glitching and after that cpu temperature went high(i could feel hot on the backplate) and after that switch was compleatly dead. I opened the switch and the picofly module show me the *== error code that stands for "No eMMC CMD1 request (poor wiring, or dead CPU)", so i want to understand what is happened because i cant give myself an explanation.
Thanks in advance for the help and sorry if my english is bad.

On a V1 you can install a modchip or a SAMD21, Trinket, M0 Gemma or similar

Will it work?
If those 2 wires are connected to the same PCB trace, then you'll probably short out the VCC and GND for the CPU.
Since you're missing the top part of the flex cable, I assume that it already went up in flames once.
If you take a look at this post, you see that the top sides of those capacitors need to be connected.

If one wire is going to the MOSFET and the other is using a GND plane, then it might work.
Get out your multimeter an start measuring.
If you're into wires then forget about this flex cable and use some direct wires like in the post linked above.

I wonder what is wrong with my mod.
When it comes to soldering such small things, I have no experience with it and prefer not to experiment on such equipment, that's why I already bought a modded OLED console.
I have a PicoFly for sure.
The problem is that when the switch discharges completely while in standby, the chip stops working for a while. About 2 weeks must pass.
Symptoms gives such (LEDs indicate it) as if there is incorrect soldering of something (🔵....🟡🟡 and then boots to sysnand).
It literally fixes itself when some time has passed and the switch is unused until next full discharge on standby.

I don't want to open the switch for now, because the service that did the mod gave me a 1 year warranty for this mod. I'm just curious if this is a normal behavior/bug after discharging (I guess it isn't) or something else. There's no way that bad solder would fix itself after not using it a while (it happened 3 times already and I can turn it on and off every time now).
I guess that I will have to send them the console to get it fixed.

Maybe its not totally discharge.
The battery still powering the cpu and the picofly.

Try this, when that happened:
1. Plug off the usb (to make sure its only battery powered)
2. Press and hold the power button for 30seconds then release (to power it off).
3. Plug the usb to charge the device, wait 5 seconds if theres no hekate, or nosdcard picture, then press the power button to turn it on.
