@NCP30 Please rework the video downloading. It works extremely poorly. I have just spent several hours trying to fix the program to use yt-dlp to download. It seems the problem is that the downloading and the conversion of the WEBM is not done in real time and it times out because it's not fast enough. I've wasted several hour trying to get this working, and I'm left with a giant disappointment

Nope, I'm sorry mate your computer and Internet is shit. Nothing I can do about that. You need to convert to WebM with VP8, maybe try lowering cores and resolutions. But modern WebMs on YouTube.

I'm using this on a server which is powerful with good internet, it's when viewing videos which are longer it chokes because it has to convert them before it serve them

Nothing I can do about that, your computer isn't powerful enough for fast conversions. There's literally nothing I can do besides begging Google to bring back WebMs with V8 rather than V9s.
I am getting the error "Unsupported file:// protocol: file://trusted/remote/wiitv/leanbacklite_wii.sfw?vendor=nintendo&model=wii&firmware=2.2 us-6.0&loader=6&lang=en&country" my server ip is 192.168.1.4 and it loads in a browser

Sorry dude, the creator is a Linux fanboy and they think that they are special. The way they worded their post absolutely infuriated me. I don't understand how nobody noticed that.

It's much more of a POC versus a public release. You're right, but lot's of inexpierenced people are just asking left and right for things *even @Larsenv"* thinks that the dude can just magically rewrite the project for yt-dlp for his benefit. I think the OP (@NCP30) should state this as a POC and ignore everyone else that doesn't have a real question. Asking for help transcoding is not reasonable or easily obtainable without knowlege. Asking for an ip address or for a WAD is unacceptable and very questionable legally. Let's have reasonable expectations, and the OP should really correct the post to say its a POC if that's his/her's main intensions.
