Feedback Homebrew I want to recreate TVii. What do you think about?

I have been looking around... If the WiiU is locked down for video playbacks... Can we IDE mod it like a Dreamcast and get native Blu-ray file support? Through TVii?

So the Wii U can't play all codecs needed. h264 encoded blueray dumps might be possible through.

Still not sure why everyone wants to mod TVii for such tasks throug: Would be way more simple to write a video player homebrew from scratch.

Because it would be awesome, and I was sitting in the bath and thought... I think what I was thinking to was Nintendo speaking on future features for TVii one being a TVR ... SO - that's where I get playback...

Thinking about it... We only get 1080... So I was being silly for bluray... Most are..

it would be easier wouldn't it, weird no one has done it... Weird..

Idk what the plan is with the API but, you get free football and stuff, that'd be neat...

Idk, it was great media machine, forgotten .. unloved... Cold from the lack of a warm embrace... With only a box of matches keeping it warm... It cries out " When lord, when's gonna be my time!" As it look over at a game and watch playing a movie with an SD CARD on an STM32....

Well, don't let your dream be just a dream.

Nobody bother to do it because it's pointless to do so. There're so much better and easier way to watch whatever these days.

I would prefer a full media player (classic Wiimc style) but if you try to revive tvii and most importantly FINISH IT then I will be quite grateful.

Sorry, at the moment nop, i left it because DavidSosa from aquamarine team is working on it .
Now im researching about Wii U Crunchyroll version.
