Have all of the known RVA titles been dumped? I worry now because there exists a method to convert the Mario Party Medal units to Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, which is rare and actually playable. The other titles are all massive electromechanical medal machines that would fill a room and rely on tons of moving parts to control. Once dismantled, the RVA arcade Wii from these isnt able to do anything on its own because each machine ran on 5 or 6 RVAs connected to one another in addition to a complex web of IO boards to control all the mechanical devices.

The three Mario Party titles are KoroKoro Catcher, KoroKoro Catcher 2, and KuruKuru Carnival.

The renowned hombrew developer Crediar has written a program which allows you to easily dump the contents of an RVA unit onto an SD card.

TvC is of course dumped and labeled with TVC.

The only dump I am currently aware of for the others is for KoroKoro Catcher 2 by Shiz. His unit was labeled MP8(SF). What's interesting is I thought Shiz only had one massive unit, but the dump contains both the client and satellite. This seems to confirm a theory that for these medal games that the dip switch designates the role, if that dump was Shiz's. This would be good news because then only one unit will need to be dumped of each title if true.

The unknown units seem to be of three varieties. There is an unlabeled unit. A user on this forum posted a picture of one a few years ago, and I found another unlabeled unit in an enclosure with its IO board. I assume that this game was not labeled while in operation. But there's also a possibility the client was labeled and he satellites weren't for one or both of these remaining two games.

Then there is another unit I found labeled MP8(ST) currently on ebay. Interestingly this also seems to use the Wii Ethernet adapter to connect to the other units unlike the unlabeled unit in the enclosure where it connected to an IO board with an ethernet port. This could just be the satellite to KoroKoro Catcher 2 which is already dumped.

Lastly is another unit I found with a different looking label that says M82/ST.
If this isn't a replacement label, it would lend credence to the ST standing for Satellite. I don't think it's the same game as the unlabeled unit because it has a white piece of plastic covering the JVS USB port which the unlabeled units I've seen do not have.

Please share any information you may have come across that would help identify these games and whether they have been preserved.

I've attached pictures of all the different unit variations I've found. Once these are all accounted for, I'd be interested in finding out if any other hardware is necessary to help a smarter person solve the IO situation preventing the one dumped game from getting past the attract mode. I doubt these will ever be "playable" in emulation, but it would be cool to see if any unique assets were created for these games despite being based on Mario Party 8.
