Now when I launch a game (any game), I get stuck on the white screen. This goes for games which previously worked. I am launching from TWiLight Menu, so it's not a forwarder issue.

Perhaps of note: the games do get past the initial `Creating save file...` screen (some show an NDS-BOOTSTRAP screen saying `Please wait...`) and after subsequent launches, briefly show a `Now Saving...` screen, which then goes to the mentioned white screen. Again, these are games which worked prior.
Post automatically merged:

Things I've tried now:
  • redownload TWiLight Menu from Universial Updater
  • rename `_roms` back to `roms`
  • move a game (Spectrobes) from `sd:/roms/nds/Ss` to `sd:/roms/nds` and create `sd:/roms/nds/saves`
None of these worked; the games still get stuck on the white screen.
Try reformatting the SD card here: https://dsi.cfw.guide/sd-card-setup.html

I've started trying this, but ran into an issue while backing up my files already; Windows reports that `sd:/_nds/pagefile.sys` is corrupted and unreadable, making it impossible to copy it. What should I do here?
In case that's the culprit of the white screen issue, try deleting it. If you can't, then backup everything except that file, and follow the SD setup guide above.

Once I'm done, what do I do about the missing file(s)? `pagefile.sys` I mean. Do I just redownload TWiLight Menu via Universal Updater?

Thank you, this worked flawlessly.

Last question (hopefully): I have now created a bunch of forwarders on my home menu (all 39 of them), but they still link to `sd:/_roms` when they are now in `sd:/roms`. Can I change the properties of these forwarders externally somehow, or do I need to remove them all and re-add them?

You need to remove and re-add them.

We've got plenty emulators from flubba, is there any reason that watara supervision WasabiDS is not included into TWL++, is that bootleg handheld so bad? I know many of them are gameboy ports however that's really playable device that could be nice to consider to add to the package.

I have not heard of WasabiDS, or the console of which is emulated.

You may know the system by one of its many different names.

QuickShot Supervision,
Travell Mate,
Hartung SV-100,
Electrolab
Are the ones I remember but pretty much every country the handheld was brought out in had its own name for it.

Hi Robz, first of all, thanks as always for continuing to maintain and offer support for this. We all appreciate the dedication. Anyways.. I was wondering if feature requests allowed? If so here's my question

When you have the power LED set to purple, would it be possible to also have an option to show low battery? Like have the blue LED cut out every so often so it flickers red intermittently? I noticed that even when the power is set to purple you can set it to the rom read setting and the LED still blinks red here and there so I think it should be possible.. (or maybe it already works like this, Im not sure, I haven't actually kept it on purple for fear of it dying)

Thanks!

To show low battery with the LED set to purple, the purple LED would have to be reverted back to blue first.
It can be done by having the console check for low battery every few frames or so. It may cause issues when playing DS(i) games though.

Interesting. So it would change blue for a split second before red? if it was flickering from purple > blue > red >purple I wonder if it would be noticeable enough to be useful or if it would kinda just look purple. I guess you'd just have to leave the red on long enough..

Anyway, would be really convenient to have if it's not too hard to implement. And provided it doesn't actually mess with the DSi stuff. The purple looks really nice imo

The "snes" folder needs to be on the SD root, not in the "roms" folder.

Hi there. I wanted to know if there is a way to customize dsiware/ds game icons without modifying the rom, and if there is, how to do it? also, if I use that icon editor called 'nsmb', will it be recognized by TWiLightMenu (I mean, will it run fine without white screen crash)?
