The guide to follow if you want that desired conclusion is the rentry guide. The other guides, although useful, don't cover the important step of installing sigpatches, probably because they have a policy of no piracy. It doesn't hurt to read different guides, but ultimately, follow the guide I mentioned.


Have you tried to delete your wifi settings altogether? My Switch never goes online, so that's what I did, and I never had the problem you have. Of course, that means no ftp access and no homebrew store or tinfoil shop, but I do everything through Hekate UMS transfer and DBI USB installation, so not an issue for me.

I’d be happy with that, not bothered for it being online, and like you could just do USB, or remove SD to computer.

They included the tesla files in their pack, the problem is that Tesla is what causing your crashes.

Okay, so I used sdsetup and removed the tesla package and it worked without it. Thanks!

If you don't care for online on your CFW, then by all means, delete your wifi settings, and try launching your games again. If you still get the error, uninstall the game thoroughly, including the tickets. You can do that with DBI, I believe. Then re-install the game, and see if it works. What I meant is, if the game still complains about no internet after you erased your wi-fi credentials, you should uninstall the game and everything related to it, including tickets. DBI, which I highly recommend, can do that. Check these instructions and try to apply them to your Switch. After all this is done, normally, if you re-install the same game, it will have no recollection of ever having been installed before on your console. Therefore, it will not assume you have internet enabled, and seeing that you don't (wi-fi is off) it would launch without complaining. That's the theory. Hopefully, it will work. Personally, I use fusee.bin to launch Atmosphere, not fss0. Maybe that makes a difference?

Thanks will have a look. So presume fusee is just another loader to get into homebrew.

Yeh I have DBI app on the switch, there’s an option to copy cart to SD which I used, it that game didn’t load either, same as above, wanted to connect to internet….

You can do either Hwfly Core, Picofly, or Picofly RP2040.

You need to check your emmc if you want to use v4 chip, they are better quality but v4 doesn't support Toshiba emmc, v5 does.

You can just get a v5 chip I guess, when v4 chip was around people have to check.

One of my friends recently got a hwfly core it been working perfectly for him, I just think it is better quality compared to like picofly and rp2040 core.

Hi everyone! I sold my modified switch but I have another one that I would like to modify, it's a V1 2017, before selling I backed up the data, to modify the other one (always v1 2017) can I simply copy the files of the old one?

You can copy over most of the files except for a partition-based emuMMC which will require you to dump and restore it via Hekate.

hello again :X so my switch went off becouse of discharging to 0% : o and now i cant boot atmo

No i dont have themes never tried them and there is no 01000000000100C folder in atmo contents folder in fact i have now zero program folders in there becouse of running clean..
Stock system runs perfectly fine.

Did you copy and paste the files then overwrote them onto your SD card or did you delete the old files then put the new ones on the SD card? If its the former, you will have to delete whatever files you put plus any old ones then download the new files from the official Atmosphere GitHub page.

After updating my switch to latest firmware/CFW I seem to be able to connect to e-shop, Nintendo servers etc again. I could not do this before..Some part of the process I missed like blocking servers again or whatever? Has the blocking process been updated?

It hasn't changed. I would recommend setting up 90DNS as it is not dependent on CFW to be active.

hey there so I bought a switch used and it was modded to the point that it would not load games so I decided to take that sd card out and use a new one but when I put the new one in it says no bin. Can someone please help me before I get pissed that I wasted my money?

What do you mean? Can you be more specific? A picture might help as well.

I used to be able to inject payloads to my Switch entirely fine, but now, when I enter RCM, TegraRCMGui no longer detects it, so I can't inject payloads. I know for a fact that the Switch is in RCM because it doesn't turn on unless I hold down the power button for a bit, and then press it again. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, tested it on 2 computers and a laptop, and tried 5 different cables, yet nothing seems to work. Is there any way to fix this? If so, how would I go about doing it?

I would highly recommend you to stop using TegraRCMGUI. Its very buggy and inferior to the original program it was based off of. I advise you to try using TegraRCMSmash instead as its what I use and I never have any issues while using it.
