Homebrew Question Why use Daybreak to update firmware?

In short, AutoRCM doesn't carry a ban risk, but Daybreak definitely does. If your goal is to preserve AutoRCM without getting banned, don't use Daybreak to do it.

Daybreak is for dirty sysMMC's/emuMMC's that don't connect to the internet, are already banned, or have 90DNS/Incognito installed.
Righto. That's pretty much what I've been doing. I never used to bother with the emunand updates (figured if it works why fix it) But every so often it's worth it things like syncfix for your joycons (pairs joycons to both nands) really like you to be on the same fw.

I must admit I tend to wait or update to the 2nd newest fw just to make sure any problems have been worked out.
