FWIW this is a Windows-only application with no plans to make it cross-platform. I know it will work for the OP's purposes, but noting this for future reference, considering how limiting this ends up being.Try out Switch2Connect. Right now it's best app to connect Switch 2 controllers with PC.
I'm using it to connect Switch 2 controllers with PC in Dualsense mode (cuz some PC games support Gyro only with Dualsense)

you didn't say anything about Mac and Android versions too huhFWIW this is a Windows-only application with no plans to make it cross-platform. I know it will work for the OP's purposes, but noting this for future reference, considering how limiting this ends up being.

Of Switch2Connect? I couldn't find anything about it on the project page. As for Pairing App, I couldn't find anything about Android support. Do you mean to suggest there's a third option that supports those targets?you didn't say anything about Mac and Android versions too huh
You can, and I summed up some of the info in my blog post about GameCube controllers.
In order to play wirelessly, you need a PC running Pairing App, running Windows, Linux or even macOS, as well as a Bluetooth receiver capable of handling Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). From there, you can use DSU/Cemuhook mode to emulate the controller as well as forward gyro information, since the controller has gyro.
Steam is also able to work with the controller, but only via USB-C. And in case if you happen to have a BlueRetro adaptor, you can daisy-chain it to a Wii U GameCube controller USB adaptor if you wish.
I have to say though, on Linux, reconnecting over BLE is quite buggy, but with a bit of determination (usually pairing again), it works. Also, depending on whether your controller is from a newer batch, you may have to manually edit in a MAC prefix corresponding to your controller.
Thanks, I appreciate it, I do have a Linux laptop but I mainly use my Windows PC for gaming, compatibility and allTry out Switch2Connect. Right now it's best app to connect Switch 2 controllers with PC.
