Running a v1 switch that has a dual setup, atmosphere and stock

i accidently updated in atmosphere and am having trouble getting the latest version work

i downloaded the latest version of Atmosphere and Hekate.

Replaced the folders files on my sd card (made sure i made backups before i did)

booted into Hekate 6.0.2 fine, loaded atmosphere and got the same critical error. what am i doing wrong?

Move/rename your /atmosphere/contents folder to /atmosphere/contents.bk and reboot.

The app needs to be online, and i cant go online in CFW..
It cant run the app.

You can use it without going online for sure. How are you determining you must be online?

Please post a screenshot of the critical error you’re getting as well as the contents of your /bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini file.

I’m betting you use:

payload=bootloader/payloads/fusee.bin in your hekate_ipl.ini file

Did you download the new fusee.bin from the Atmosphere GitHub and place it in /bootloader/payloads/

Upgrade your SDCard by downloading and unzipping new zip files from atmosphere and Hekate github here:

yes i replaced the fusee.bin file in the bootloader/payload folder

Let’s do a clean slate and move/rename /atmosphere to /atmospher.bk and then unzip a fresh copy of atmosphere at the top level of your sdcard.

Pasting over can cause this issue. We are just temporarily moving the directory and you can put it back after the fresh install test.

Also, did you upgrade the payload you are injecting?

ok what ill do i will put the atmosphere files on the sd card back to the way it was before i did anything, i made a backup

ill then rename the atmosphere folder to atmosphere.bk and paste all over again

is that correct?

just so im on the rifght track where exactly do i upgrade the payload, ive already got it on my RCM loader

I don’t want to mess w/ your pristine backup. We’re just going to run a quick test as is by moving what you have out of the way and laying down a fresh copy of nothing but atmosphere.

Yes, we will want to update the payload on your RCM Loader. Assuming you’re injecting Hekate you would need to rename hekate.x.x.x.bin to payload.bin.

aha! This is good progress.

So you have remnants of an old copy of Hekate/Nyx hanging around too.

please do the same with /bootloader and move/rename it to /bootloader.bk and then unzip a fresh copy of latest Hekate from GitHub.

Then copy your /bootloader.bk/hekate_ipl.ini file to the new /bootloader/ directory.

If you had Sigpatches, you will want to grab the latest and unzip them at the top of your SDCard.

Correct. They will be new anyway since we moved everything to .bk directories. You still have your untouched backups. We’re being as safe as can be.
