Unrelated and if you dont know, maybe someone else might - I applied the amFilm screen protector about a day ago, is it safe to use now or should I wait? I hear stories of some saying you should wait and others saying its not true.

Hey bink, since your so knowlegable on the subject, and im so curious.
I was wondering what the rest are:

autoboot=1 (automatically boot the first entry) - first entry meaning the text below where it show Atmosphere CFW (first stanza)?, I tried this and now even when I choose to load Hekate or use the fastcfwswitch overlay to boot into Hekate, it loads directly into Atmosphere, is this the reason?

Yes. Hit Vol(-) if you want to stop it and go to Hekate.

autoboot_list=0 - When this is on 1, will it show you the list of configs from below and let you choose where to boot into?

It will count and use the files in /bootloader/ini/ instead of counting the stanzas in helate_ipl.ini

autohosoff=2 - I dont really understand the explanation, as default, its on 0 for most people, including me, what is the benefit of having it on 2 like you do?

2 means…when I say power off…turn off. There are certain cases where it will turn off and then turn back on real quick and THEN turn off. I don’t like that.

kip1=atmosphere/kip_patches/ - I have kip1patch=nosigchk only, do i need to add that one too? what does it do?

This is a Hekate thing that tells where to look for Kip patches. Your kip1patch is fine.

I have three folders with files going down from a r00 file to a r85 file, i dont know what a nsp file is.

You just need to unrar the top level .rar file. There should be only one. If not it will be the 00 file. The initial file holds the index for the rest of the partial r* files that make up the rest of the download. Once they are all unrared it will pop out a new file(s). That file or files is the end goal.

Are they contiguous or does it start th numbering again? If they are contiguous, they should all be placed in the same folder. If they start at 00 or .rar again…it’s another payload so run winrar separately for each .rar or .r00 fule you have.

Depends upon what you got. Nsp or xci files like @Hayato213 mentioned? Yes, probably OK.

Some file that says switchbricker.nro. Probably not.

Hitting volume minus, when exactly do I hit it? Do I turn it on by loading Hekate payload and right after just tap on volume (-)? can you share the exact procedure?

As for the secret you had shared, I'm assuming you quoted my question regarding the screen protector by accident and as for the link, I've already checked it out before before I replied the 1st time, I was still unsure though and needed a dumbed down/different explanation which you did pretty well

There is a white bar that goes across the bottom for the duration of bootwait seconds. You have until the white bar makes it from left to right side. If it’s too fast, bump bootwait to 2.

I've successfully recreated an emunand and upgraded to latest firmware version
With DBI I also installed a couple of games and restored some saves.

I've now an issue for saves that were created for a user profile that doesn't exists on the sysnand.
I'm sure this question was asked a hundred of times but I didn't find the right search query ^^': what's the easiest way to copy user profiles from an emunand to another ?

If you have the decrypted save, inject it into your system.

Ok I'll try that.

I should have been more specific with the question i guess.
Backups were made both with jksv and dbi.

I used dbi mtp responder feature to copy back saves. And by doing so it refused to copy saves for a user profile not existing y et.

Hopefully jksv will do the job
