Same here GitHub doesn't support esp config.. but good to see prb site is back..
Good to hear.

Its not working for me yet (virgin media in the UK) but tested through a vpn and it works.
Must not have been updated on my ISP server yet.

Thanks for letting me know. :)

V3 working, thanks! Two questions:
1) i'm quite sure i'm in mode 2 but cant see it in the title, maybe at next reboot? (i didn't press X, i just used the entry in the menu (last right "esp settings" , wrote ssid and pw, ticked the box and saved )
2) i'd like to change the wallpaper, where's stored the file? (i'll replace it with mine)

If the PS4 and ESP are setup correctly for [ESP MODE2] It will say it in the title.
If it does not then it is not using mode2.

If your ESP is correctly connected to your home wifi network it will tell you the IP and signal strength of the connection on the esp settings page.
esp sig strength.png
If it does not, then it is not connected so mode 2 will not work.

kameleon has already put my basic v5 on an esp32. I dont have the link to hand but you should be able to find it easily.
I was asking for an official version of yours, since that of kame, the execution of the webkit exploit is highly variable (from 5 seconds to 30, there are times that it takes 3 or 2 seconds but surely a KP will occur).

What IP address does it say when you open the esp config page (see below)

If the config page does not load when you are connected to your lan, connect to the esp access point instead and see what it says then.
Thanks man I was able to get it working. For selfhosting are there any known reasons for me not being able to connect? I have internet running on both PS4 and laptop but it won’t connect. I use to use it all the time I don’t know what the issue is.

Probably because using selfhosting, the host server is not able to connect with the S2 cause they are in different subnetworks...

Something similar happen to me using 2 routers and each router is in different subnetworks, in my case no works without a complex router rules configuration.

You could get it working but you need very good skills making router rules, network and hostserver configuration..

lately v5 of kame is giving me a lot of kp and my console freezes. hopefully you will release a new version that works like ps-phive

@Prb @Leeful hey can I please get the esp32 data folder so I can flash it myself (to remove password) or can you make me a bin with no password please? Thanks loving this, ditched my own host for this lol

Well if you did it in that order there’s your problem. You can’t set it up and then clear your cache then you just cleared your setup 😝 your trying to setup esp mode 2?

Maybe you need to use reset button in esp32 to make it appear again in network

It worked all before (esp2 mode) Shutted down ps4. Booted it up and it was not working what ever i tried.
Just those where a few of the steps i did (i followed the instructions from op).
So i gave up for 3 hours. I started ps4 up now and it suddenly works... Just shoot me cause i have no idea what is going on lol.
Thanks anyway for reply :)

Did you change the sleep settings? Remember it needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to turn it back on again

create the folder document/YOURLANGUAGE/ps4/
and add the files from ps-phive run http server. add your pc ip as dns on the ps4 and open the guide menu

Ok but don’t we need to make a new menu.cache file to add those new directory? So to add this to user guide in selfhost should cache file look like this now?
CACHE MANIFEST

Same happened to me, sleep mode is the cause.
Deactivate it (I just did it).

Off topic , being « at least « playing the game provided with my PS4 pro limited edition death stranding, being playing a lot before with « recent games », Kojima , all is said… amazing the work…reminds me when I was stunned with MGS, a lot of games were inspired from his work
