Just have to say Rayman Origins and Legends are absolutely fantastic gaems. It really does beat the NSMB series by a long way in teh fun department.

You're buying into Ubisoft's corporate greed, you wouldn't even know how to appreciate such monumental and game-changing titles like Hohokum or The Cat and the Coup.

I'll just put this in this battlefield: Exclusives and what the system offers will influence the buyer into purchasing a system. Dat much is true. But u can factor in Multiplat games in as well. If I wanted to play GTA or COD, I wouldn't buy a wii U for sure. (Considering GTA is rarely on Ninty platforms.)

Not only that, the 2 multiplat titles are known to be one of the most successful video game franchises ever. It definitely drives sales, software wise and hardware wise.

Just a note, PS4 did have a record. It became the fastest selling console in history in the UK.

I've also heard that it sold one million in 24 hours in the US. , not sure if that's record breaking tho. XD

Pokemon is either as simple as you want it to be or as complicated. I can't think of an RPG that requires as much thought as Pokemon if you're into the competitive scene.

No. You can't just compare something and draw some sudden total connection because it shares a really basic straw-grabbing feature or gameplay element.

Mobile has some junk, avoid anything that has a Facebook equivalent and it has a fighting chance of being good. Facebook games are largely why mobile gets bad looks from people.

Mobile games are cheap, handheld, and have an incredibly lively indie scene for games. Call me when I can get that on a more standard gaming device like one from the big three (Nintendo/Sony/M$).

The PS4 DIDN'T break real records. Pointless things like "current highest selling" console is pointless. That's not a record. Lrn2charts. It was not the highest OR fastest selling debut for a console. It has not sold over 130m or whatever the PS2 did... so what records is it breaking?

I would also really like to know where I said third party games don't or can't sell. I said multiplat, which is true, because they AREN'T money generators like you seem to think.
Regardless, Nintendo's greatest strength was and always will be their first-party. That's not shocking. Micro$oft's greatest strength is their assdealing with Bungie for Halo (a first-party franchise) and promoting any and all of the latest FPSes for other companies. Sony's greatest strengths lie in their first-party support too.

One game is never sufficient to save a company's loss of profit (Atari tried it too with the mass production of ET) so Wii U owners just have to accept it and take for what it is.

1. The Nintendo exclusives (Smash, Wonderful, Bayonetta, Mario 3D World, Zelda, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter, Lego City Undercover, Nintendo Land, etc)
2. Small quantity of quality games (before you know you've finished all of them in your library)
3. Waste of potential (GamePad was never truly used well, except in Legends / Nintendo Land / Wonderful / Mario Kart / Smash)
4. Given that the sales are low some of the exclusives might become out of print rarities (Wonderful, for e.g.).

There's two things I still want Nintendo to do: Add the GameCube controller driver to the Wii Mode to play controller-based with an NGC controller and allow the GamePad to be played on Wii Mode (I don't want to view Wii games on the GamePad).

It was predictable that Nintendo would be in a terrible position finnancialy,
altought having it even worse than expected just show them how wrong they did with WiiU.
Nintendo is outdated in many ways it's even hard to imagine a different situation.
Why doesn't Nintendo have a account system? Why do they still use region-lock?
Why do they have limit usage demos? Why is it needed to pay $1 for every VC title to be tranfered from Wii to WiiU.
These things just get even more negative considering WiiU have never been marketed well,
it was made for a public that doesn't exist anymore and can't compete with PS4 and X1.

Granted with the rest it makes for 1 step forward, about 90 back (or at least 1 step forward when everybody else took 90).
